  1. Maybe instead of forcing the Jaguars to play a home game in London they should force the Rams and Chargers to play a home game in London.
  2. Houston fired David Culley. It's been reported Watson liked Miami because of Flores. I suspect Houston makes a push for Flores.
  3. The Rams have been perennial contenders since about the first day they arrived in Los Angeles and have been to a Super Bowl. What more do they need? No other city would get a pass like this. Nowhere else would they force two teams on a city that doesn't care about football. As for Kelly, she has to make up her mind if she wants the California lifestyle or be in a real football town. It looks like she can't have both.
  4. Glad the NFL made sure Los Angeles had to have not one but two NFL teams. The Chargers can't even fill up an MLS stadium.
  5. I'm old enough to remember when Republicans loved mail in voting because it was used mostly by seniors and military who favored Republicans. When younger people and minorities started using it is when it became a problem and unsecure.
  6. Kelly Stafford going after Rams fans. I watched the game and it was embarrassing.
  7. I wouldn't be surprised if the Lions do not take a receiver with the Rams pick. I remember reading prior to this last draft that Holmes and Dorsey had drafted something like 12 receivers in their career and only 1 was a first round pick. They got guys like Cupp, Hill and now St Brown in the middle rounds. Wouldn't be surprised if they go that route again.
  8. I hate McVay but like Stafford. I'm conflicted. McVay reminds me of Patricia but only successful. I feel like the first time the Rams struggle or have a losing season, players will turn on McVay.
  9. Two top 10 players in one draft is pretty good. McNeil looks like he could at least be a solid starter or good rotational guy, Barnes showed talent and upside but overall was not good. I feel like those are correctable issues though. Jefferson looked decent when he played. Melifonwu is incomplete. Showed some potential. Levi was the only real disappointment.
  10. She voted for Trump in 2020 knowing he was going to contest the election. She has voted against the Voting Rights act. She sided with Trump 90% of the time. She's fine with suppressing the vote as long as it doesn't go as far as an insurrection.
  11. Add Liz Cheney to this list. I haven't forgotten who she really is.
  12. Goff had one of the highest QB ratings in the NFL when Campbell was calling plays. Don't mess with a good thing. Promote Ben Johnson and let Campbell continue to call plays. If Campbell needs to give up play calling duties, I'm sure Johnson can handle it.
  13. I can see where Sean Payton rubbed off on him and this Lions offense is similar to the Saints offense. The Saints run the ball a lot and relied on two backs. Goff and Brees have a similar skillset. Brees was never a big arm QB and relied on accuracy much the way Goff does. Those Saints teams were always aggressive on both sides of the ball much like this Lions team is.
  14. I didn't have Trey Lance going 3rd last year, much less the 49ers trading three 1st round picks, so I think a QB will rise and the Lions are in a good position ahead of Houston. I would look at Carolina as a potential trade partner. Picking up a future 1st would be worth it to trade down.
  15. I love how Trumpers would hammer Democrats on inner city crime and how they were going to dominate the suburbs and will turn around and vote for the police chief of the city with one of the highest crime rates in the country.
  16. I live right down the road from Rinke Chevrolet. I knew that place was shysters.
  17. He's going to get a head coaching job sooner or later. He'll probably get a lot of interviews to satisfy the Rooney rule.
