  1. I love how they say anti-gun people can only see one side but chose to acknowledge or see how every single developed country in the world is better at regulating guns and reducing gun homicides than the US.
  2. They are taking guns away from the criminals.
  3. I've just gotten so sick of it. It's always a damn purity contest with Democrats. If you didn't like Hillary why didn't you show up in the primary? Once she made it through, the choice was obvious. With Hillary we wouldn't be losing abortion rights and who knows what else with this Supreme Court, there would have been thousands fewer people dead from COVID, there would have been no insurrection, and many federal agencies such as USPS wouldn't have been gutted, but guess what, we wouldn't have gotten Medicare for all so Democrats would pout and not show up in 2020 and the Trump era is just delayed 4 years.
  4. Just a reminder that there was an open Supreme Court seat in 2016 that Republicans held hostage for 9 months and Democrats still didn't turn out and vote for Hillary. Democrats are getting what they deserve. There will be consequences for generations.
  5. It reminds me of a few years ago I was in line at a Dollar General and the guy in line in front of me was proudly displaying his gun in a holster on his hip. I got close to him and even put my fingertip on the handle and he didn't even know. I could have easily ripped that gun out of the holster and shot him in the head. He literally made himself more dangerous carrying his penis on his hip.
  6. Funny how that same logic doesn't apply to abortions. They still can't address how Canada, Australia, Japan, and Western Europe have significantly fewer gun murders. The fact is, their other non gun murders are no higher than the US. I would also like to point out that the US also doesn't have some unusually high rate of mental disorders. It's inline with countries like the UK. The lengths they will go to give guns more rights than people is simply dumbfounding.
  7. My CEO quoted Salman Rushdie in regards to mandating vaccines. Apparently having a fatwa out on you for your religious writings is the same as being mandated to be vaccinated.
  8. Here is a link to that article: https://www.thedailybeast.com/ethan-crumbley-identified-as-oxford-high-school-michigan-mass-shooter
  9. I remember him and good riddance.
  10. If my parents gifted me a $1,200 gun, I would have sold it for weed.
  11. I would like to know the statistics on how many good guys with guns thwarted potential murders? I feel like the number is very low. I also then wonder how many people, particularly children, got hold of said good guy's gun and accidentally killed someone? I can't imagine the net is very many lives saved and thousands of lives lost than didn't need to be.
  12. Even if Michigan had the death penalty, it's unconstitutional to sentence a minor to death but I'm not sure how long that will be with this supreme court.
  13. So the school met with the parents due to concerning behavior. Seems just the type of 15 year old to own a gun.
  14. Michigan does not. Fun fact, it was the first state in the union to abolish it.
  15. So why does a 15 year old need a handgun? <awaits to be corrected on the specific type of the gun as if it matter>
  16. A 4th student has died. Not sounding good for a 5th.
  17. Hutchinson will be rewarded for his fine play with a spot on the Lions roster. I look forward to him retiring before age 30 and fighting with the team over his signing bonus.
  18. I'm betting the same people who think the vaccine is a tracking device will also be ok with more security checks and searches.
  19. From what I skimmed, I didn't see anything real concrete one way or the other. I don't think metal detectors and security checks should be the only means, but I don't see a reason against them. I know it's anecdotal, but apparently the attackers in France in 2015 chose that theater because they didn't check for weapons. Certainly they would have found somewhere else to attack but they did reconnaissance on that theater for that very purpose. France is a country with tight gun control but you should keep open all options.
  20. Many blue states have done it and which is why their rate of gun violence is lower than red states.
  21. For the what about Chicago folks, Illinois ranks 34th in homicide rate. Mike Pence's Indiana, with looser gun laws, averages about 40% more gun homicides per 100k than Illinois. States like Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana average over twice as many gun homicides.
  22. As of 2019, the states with the highest murder rates are red states with loose gun laws.
