Orlovsky was brought back as a backup during the Caldwell days I believe. I think Orlovsky was a backup for the Colts when Caldwell was there at the time Stafford was drafted. Culpepper was the backup Stafford's first year and then Shaun Hill.
It should have been Stafford to Johnson to set up that game winning FG and Suh and Ansah in the backfield wreaking havoc on Brady. The foundation was there and yet couldn't put it together.
On a squib kick, does the clock start as soon as the returner touches the ball? Why wouldn't a returner just waive for a fair catch? Or whoever returned it just kneel? I guess at that point even kneeling and taking a second or two is huge.
My prediction now is the Rams will win the Super Bowl. Stafford will shock everyone and retire. The Rams completely fall apart and the Lions via the Rams pick will be picking 1st overall in 2023.
I thought Tony Romo was good when he first started, but he has gotten progressively worse it seems each year. I really liked Greg Olson on Fox. I think he may have a future.
