  1. Let's look past the last 18 months. Khan has owned the team the last 10 seasons. In 8 of the past 10 seasons, they have won 5 or fewer games. In the other two, they won 6 and 10 games. For some reason, they had a magical season and somehow, someway made it the AFC Championship. They then promptly fell apart after and are one of the worst teams in the league. This all happened under Kahn. Under Kahn they hired Coughlin and the league had to warn free agents from signing in Jacksonville. This of course congress before hiring Meyer who most people saw as a disaster waiting to happen.
  2. I certainly wasn't expecting to see the Lions on this list.
  3. If Aaron Rodgers leaves the division, Minnesota is as good as anyone to win the division next year. Their window is closing so someone like Jim Caldwell may be a good fit. He's not exactly young so maybe he tries to make something happen with Cousins and then step aside for the rebuilt. Minnesota, with a new GM, could just say screw it and tear it all down this year.
  4. They eventually reversed course, but you can see the voter suppression in action.
  5. I'm trying to think what would be the best Bob and Matt combo?
  6. Speaking of bots...
  7. You can tell by the way the bridge collapsed it was an inside job. The bridge was rigged with explosives.
  8. The new tan suit.
  9. I kind of thought Josh McDaniels alienating his QB and best WR in Denver and reneging on the Colts would rub people the wrong way but apparently not. I would say his downfall in Detroit was an immaturity showed by the team. Those Lions teams always had a knack for personal foul penalties at the most inopportune times.
  10. I'm still surprised Jim Schwartz doesn't seem to get any interest at all. I thought he was deserving of another chance.
  11. I simply don't get it.
  12. A former NFL coach who coached in a Super Bowl even if it is Jeff Fisher seems like a good get for a league that will probably only last 1 year.
  13. No I didn't liar. I predicted 5 wins. I also in no way shape or form said Stafford and Goff are a wash. You're just flat out making shit up now.
  14. And some good fortunate could get them to 9 wins which has a good chance of winning the division.
  15. The Packers played almost all their starters including Rodgers in the first half and were still losing at half. The Lions were basically playing a lot of practice squad players against their reserves. It's highly likely the Packers will be starting Love next year so apparently that's one less team to worry about.
  16. The Lions lost 3 games on last second FGs, tied one game, lost the Cleveland game by 3, and had a chance to win the Atlanta game before throwing an INT in the endzone. I was also surprised to find that there were 5 teams with a worse point differential than the Lions including the 7 win Falcons. They have 3 picks in the top 34 and better luck with injuries and they should be improved. Talks about winning the division though are more an indictment on how poor the division looks vs the Lions be substantially better.
  17. I was thinking this myself. With Rodgers gone, Goff would probably be the 2nd best QB in the division at worse behind Cousins. Minnesota has cap issues themselves and a declining defense. The Bears are old with free agents but have cap space and a potential young QB. Without Rodgers in the division I could see the Lions taking it and I can also see the Lions finishing last.
  18. I really don't think the decision is up to the Packers. Given Rodgers age, the Packers free agents and cap situation, it may be best to start the rebuild now and load up on picks.
