  1. Reminder, there was nothing wrong with mail in ballots when Republicans used them more than Democrats.
  2. Marcus Williams would be an interesting target. He's got the obvious connection to Campbell and Glenn. I don't see Wil Harris getting cut. He's on a rookie contract. He'll be ok in a reserve roll. I would like to see Josh Reynolds brought back. Goff's improvement didn't just coincide with Campbell calling plays but also bringing on Reynolds. We also saw increased output from St Brown. Reynolds had an underrated impact on this team.
  3. From the link regarding India: *Note: In India, the sample is representative of just the literate population.
  4. I just thought of something. Is Matt Millen the only GM that Willie Clay Ford fired? Russ Thomas retired. Chuck Schmidt was technically the GM but I guess Fontes and Ross where really pulling the strings. Ross did end up resigning but was Schmidt ever fired? There were technically only three GMs in the near 50 years WCF owned the team. I do believe Martha did the best she could but we were asking a lot from someone over 90 years old to just jump in and turn around a franchise.
  5. Bernie Sanders got weak support from blacks as it is. Whether tater likes it or not, blacks would rather support Bill Clinton and Joe Biden than Bernie Sanders. I'm not sure how or if MLK changes their thinking on that.
  6. Unfortunately Bernie Sanders started this rigged election conspiracy that Trump picked up and ran with. There were a few pages Trump took out of the Bernie Sanders playbook.
  7. How is New York going to get him to comply? He's basically going to get safe haven down in Florida.
  8. Hilary Clinton defeated Bernie Sanders by 3 million votes.
  9. The offensive line was good in 2014 and they ran the ball effectively, unfortunately that was one of Stafford's worst years but they still won 11 games and should have won that playoff game.
  10. What if the Lions would have promoted Kevin Colbert to GM?
  11. The Lions wouldn't have gotten a home playoff game. The Packers had already wrapped up the division and 1st seed which was why Flynn was playing in the 1st place. Only division winners got home games. I believe they would have played at the Giants instead. Maybe they win that game and completely change the course of history. The thing for me was I was completely optimistic after 2011. Stafford in really his 1st full season threw for 5,000 yards and over 40 TDs. They had the best receiver in the league and one of the best defensive players in the league and they were all young. It looked like just the beginning. They really played better than the score indicated as they were only down 3 points into the 4th quarter and then it completely got away from them.
  12. I mean, the Redskins won the division with a 7-9 record. Lets put it in a little perspective. I'm also not ready to say Sheila is the same as Willie Clay Ford. So far, she has done things differently than her father. I have more confidence in Sheila going forward than Snyder.
  13. Watching Stafford makes me depressed now. There's no reason this couldn't have been the Lions. They had their Cooper Kupp in Calvin Johnson. They had their Aaron Donald in Suh. The foundation was there. Just couldn't get the right pieces around them.
  14. I can't imagine this would go over well in Alabama.
  15. People realize that Washington has not been very good since Daniel Snyder took over? Those Super Bowls Washington won weren't with the current owner. On field Washington has only been marginally better than the Lions and have been a dumpster fire off the field.
  16. Conservatives have pushed not to provide contraception under the guise of religious freedom. They have also tried for many years to defund Planned Parenthood which is not just an abortion clinic.
  17. April 19th was when all adults in all states were eligible for the vaccine.
  18. I never mentioned Afghanistan, Trump, or any trope at all so nice strawman. I do stay away from Detroit for the most part because the crime is out of control. When I do venture into the city limits, it's usually my old neighborhood which is near the Grosse Pointe border so I have an escape route to safety if things go sideways. I also had no desire to go to Chicago. I don't have any desire to go to St Louis or any other city on your list. It's fine that you are content with Chicago having almost as many murders as Los Angeles and New York combined.
