  1. Are you dense? Hutchinson won't get the largest contract ever for a defensive player if he isn't good. If he is that good to warrant that kind of contract, it means the team didn't ruin his career. I know you like your lazy arguments of oh it's the Lions so everything they ever do and ever will do is bad and they ruined every player who ever played for them.
  2. All 3 of them could be hall of famers. How the fuck did they not have a successful career?
  3. They got paid because they were good players and the Lions didn't ruin their career.
  4. It means their careers weren't ruined by the Lions. If the Lions ruined their careers, no one would want to sign them. Instead, they were among the best at their position and commanded top dollar.
  5. WTF are you talking about? You're the one saying the Lions ruined their career, not me.
  6. I mean, if Suh is still a good player and a Super Bowl champion it means the Lions didn't ruin his career.
  7. All 3 of them made their money because they signed huge contracts because they had great careers up to that point, meaning their careers weren't ruined by the Lions.
  8. There are hundreds of players who get drafted and never win a championship and/or move to other teams. The fact is all 3 are potential hall of famers who made lots of money.
  9. I guess you consider success being a has been and riding Tom Brady's coattails to a ring. Either way, the Lions didn't ruin his career. When he was on Detroit he was one of the best defensive players in the game and the highest paid defensive player ever at the time. He now has a ring and a decent shot at the hall of fame. Poor Suh for having to play on the Lions who made the playoffs twice while he was a Lion btw.
  10. Well, Johnson and Stafford had the opportunity to sign elsewhere and chose not to. Suh did decide to sign elsewhere and ironically never had the same success as he did in Detroit so so much for the Lions ruining his career.
  11. Yeah Stafford, Suh and Johnson all had their careers destroyed. All were the highest paid player ever at their respective position at one point and one is in the hall of fame already and the other two have decent odds of making it. The Lions have been fairly good with high draft picks recently.
  12. Stafford had a great game on the road against the team with the best record in the NFL and won.
  13. Figured I would leave this here.
  14. No difference between he and Whitmer.
  15. I don't think Jacksonville will trade the top 3 pick for Decker. For Sewell yes, Decker no. I'm kind of digging having two really good tackles. I think I changed my mind and would stay put with Decker unless you got a really good offer.
  16. Maybe I'm starting to become a conspiracy theorist, but why does the camera never actually show the vehicle or the pump handle? Also, when I pause the video a quick math calculation shows $4.69 per gallon. Only states where gas is above $4 is California and Hawaii. The national average is $3.33.
  17. Well, it happened.
  18. Imagine arguing the filibuster is in line with democracy to prevent packing the Supreme Court when you eliminated it to push through Supreme Court justices.
  19. DeSantis was actively punishing school districts and businesses who imposed a vaccine mandate. he was withholding funding for school districts who imposed a mandate. He wasn't advocating a vaccine and Florida's peak was still worse. Florida had twice as many cases per 100k as Michigan does now.
  20. That head coach who called his own plays won a Super Bowl. 17 years ago Staley was in the middle of his NFL career.
  21. And they got rid of the filibuster for Supreme Court justices. This is the next logical step.
