  1. I think there is some decline for both. Just that Biden has enough actual governing ability that he is still quite capable of being president. That might not hold for the next four and a half years, but it’s still better, IMO, than Trump who never had much going on upstairs aside from his ubergrifter spoiled rich boy “smarts”. His loss of any capacity, after showing how poor of a president he was years ago… can’t lose what you never had.
  2. Same as it ever was.
  3. What are five words you never hear, Alex?
  4. That’s his build after he gained 25 pounds? I was a beanpole at that age too, but beer helped add a few pounds shortly.
  5. Right, whom of us hasn’t shoved a partner out a window?
  6. Go ahead, maybe Schumer’s office could use some backup toilet paper.
  7. All out of likes for today-but this is a big thumbs up to Sue and Rob’s posts.
  8. Source? Why is that setting him up to fail? Do we know how long that limited role would last, or if it would change based on results?
  9. The McDavid goal was astounding for the puck, stick and body control. All in very tight spaces.
  10. The “Left” is not some homogeneous group that can be pigeonholed as some here keep attempting. Lots of folks in the left are patriotic, they just value the Constitution and Bill of Rights without all the play-acting that has been just mentioned. Sure, quite a few nutjobs the closer you get to the fringes (as in any large group), but on the whole I don’t see it. Define the character of the group you belong to and temper the urge to paint the others with a broad brush. Except MAGAs, screw them 😀.
  11. Some weeks back @gehringer_2 mentioned that Hinch could push Tork to go to right field by some means-I think it was kind the kangaroo court thing. Some small fine (but big in terms of pride) every time he doesn’t go the opposite way? I don’t know if that would actually work, plus you’d need to not fall into a new, just as bad habit. The idea would be to have him apply himself to what he isn’t doing-repeating it and, one would hope, having success. But maybe Tork can’t change. He had years of success before getting to MLB.
  12. Someone is going to need to do a wellness check on Colbert’s kidney this evening. Maybe mine too.
  13. Crap, I’m all out of likes and I am sure to be wanting more. 😉
  14. Delete almost and I am with you.
  15. Ah, Lynn, he hit for a 754OPS last year with a 304 BABIP. This year he has a 625 BABIP in 14 plate appearances. Tough luck with the injury, but let’s not get too excited. Save that for Franyerber! 😎
