  1. Triple header. Get to call up 3 extra players. Do it, MLB!
  2. Keating and York were a bit bland. But, like Mario, they didn’t cause any unnecessary distractions or make it about them. Very straight forward. I’ll reserve judgment until I see how they replace them. My dreamcast on TV is Dickerson/Dirks in the booth with Petry and York or Kane on the postgame. Benneti has worn thin—kind of understand why the ChiSox ran him out. He’d probably be much better on radio where he couldn’t call attention to distractions outside of the game play, which he likes to do on TV.
  3. Daniella is solid, but Johnny Kane was better. Natalie is eye candy.
  4. And now headed to Coors.
  5. Have to disagree. Long and boring. The Natural kicks it’s ass.
  6. Can someone text me when the 8th inning starts?
  7. I think the takeaway is that Javy is outperforming him (so far).
  8. Agree, it’s a bad look. Ed. Did she turn down a date with you?
  9. Too bad we cut Maeda
  10. The Tigers have five 1st rounders on their roster and two 2nd rounders, if you include Parker who should be on the active squad.
  11. Miggy was on a top-10 trajectory in many career offensive categories until Prince Fielder’s wife demonstrated poor judgment.
  12. Both Malloy and Jung can benefit from more seasoning at Toledo. Easy decision when Vierling and Meadows are ready.
  13. It will come down to the 2026 season—if we’re not in contention at that trade deadline, I suspect we’d move him when all options to resign him have been exhausted. Even with an expiring contract, he’d command more in value than a comp pick would be worth.
  14. Yes. But he’ll still test free agency.
  15. I believe Madden was an Avila pick. And he fell where they drafted him.
  16. Kind of a must win. Get it done, rook.
  17. Colt with the better average 🤣
  18. If anyone would have said that Zach would put up a 2.0 WAR before the season, we’d have been understandably skeptical.
  19. I probably would consider Clark, Liranzo, McGonigle and Rainer as our untouchables. Definitely would not move any of them for relief help. The reality is that as much as some might not like our lineup, we really don’t have any sizable holes. I’d love to get a generational hitter, like a Soto, but would be hard to get a team to trade one in their prime, similar to what the Marlins did with Miggy. Hopefully one makes it to free agency and we get consideration.
  20. His wife shares your sentiment.
  21. Some combination of Clark and McGonigle will be hitting 1-2 for years to come. Both are the OBP machines we’ve lacked forever. I see Briceno as the most tradable, if you believe he can’t stick at C, as most think, and Tork will be at 1B for the foreseeable future.
  22. What’s different, though, is that we are not in need of starting pitching. A SS upgrade might be nice, but I suspect we’d be in the hunt for someone who could be a shutdown, high leverage reliever. Someone like Josue Briceno is more likely to get dealt to address that, if required.
