  1. Well, that didn't age well!
  2. If we can slide into first, we position ourselves for a first round bye in the playoffs!
  3. For several years in the 70s, the Tigers played an exhibition game against Reds early in the season for a benefit. The teams took turns hosting.
  4. Can you say "Jared Weaver?" Bahahahaha
  5. Fixed this for you: And Skubal is a 4.50 ERA pitcher making $50+ million a year.
  6. FWIW- McGonigle is leading the AL in WAR for all positional players. So we have that going for us, which is nice.
  7. What is the over/under on how many times Bert walks in public with his fly down today?
  8. Have had MLB At Bat several years. Was $24.99 last year, $59.99 this year. Told them to pound sand.
  9. All three SD projected starting pitchers are right handed.
  10. That is a bigger list than I would have guessed. Thanks for compiling.
  11. Saw Meatloaf sing the SSB in Yankee Stadium a few decades ago, best I have ever seen. I still get chills thinking about it.
  12. Tuesday 12-2 Tigers Wednesday 11-1 Tigers Tonight 10-0 Tigers
  13. Did you see . . . . this past weekend, the Tigers minor league affiliates went a combined 10-2 and outscored their opponents 108-29.
  14. And stud Ron LeFlore in CF between them. OF of the future I thought for sure!
  15. I am so over Kahnle.
  16. Melton is reminding me of Jeff Weaver a tad.
  17. I use to LOVE the all-star game but as many have said, it has lost it's luster with the amount of interleague we play now. Jonas brothers mid game song - worthless waste of time. I could not believe all that EXTRA CRAP going on as they were introducing the teams and especially the starting line ups. Total BS. Manfred should be ashamed and embarrassed.
  18. That Erie lineup tonight looks like an all-star team!! Go Seawolves!!
  19. Looks like in 1961 the Tigers had Bunning, Cash, Colavito and Kaline all starting one of the AS games. In fact, the three Tigers batted 1-2-3 in the lineup that game. Colavito's HR provided the AL only run and Kaline had 2 of the 4 AL hits.
  20. There does look like some sort of a wall to the right of the flag pole that squares off CF. Hmmmm. Flagpole still in play though.
  21. I am 99.9% sure the flagpole was always in play and there was never a temporary fence at 420'.
  22. And to think Tiger Stadium was 440 to center field!!
  23. Ya know, I really liked Trei Cruz when he was drafted and seems to be coming into his own this year . . . . but . . . . just realized he is 26 years old all ready. Thought he might be the old dude on the Erie team but there are seven guys older.
  24. Was your dads name Tiger336?
