  1. colorado goes all in.
  2. you are not crazy, you are observant.
  3. if weaver is making the pick its going to be sarr. he's tall amd reasonably athletic. that's his qualification and is probably enough to satiate weaver's big man fetish.
  4. i'll take gibson over wiseman.
  5. shows me that nobody wants him.
  6. the isle are becoming our main competition.
  7. another solid loss. one step closer to the #1 pick in a bad draft! why is grimes not playing?
  8. nyah. russ would be detrimental to any young qb. he wouldnt take the time to coach, mentor, od develop him. the new qb would learn bad habits from a guy more concerned with his own stats and instagram likes than he would be in winning games. if i had a young qb, i would never sign russ. i would rather have dacid blough or nate sudfeld than a guy like russ.
  9. true. but i also consider the caps to be the weakest team chasing the wings.
  10. jaylon johnson tagged by the bears.
  11. i dont think russell wilson is a mentor, i think he's an ego maniac who is all about russ. i would never bring him in to mentor anyone.
  12. wheeler's top 75: 11) edvinsson 24) asp 40) kasper 42) danielson mazur gets an honorable mention. michkov was #1. nemec #2. wheeler has a type: small, fast, skill players. just an fyi.
  13. welp, it was fun while it lasted!
  14. christian gonzalez isnt what they say they look for in a corner. he's a cover guy with speed, not a "tough tackler who plays physical with an edge." witherspoon yes. gonzalez not so much.
  15. meh, its what they allowed to happen because it was the easiest course of action to take in the short run. that's why they did it.
  16. you already have multiple examples of good young coaches. hiring moore because it will be cheaper to fire him is an absolutely horrible way to do business. it was cheap to fire brady hoke.
  17. the wings are no lock to make the playoffs. too many games left. too much time for fringe teams to make big deals.
  18. there are lots of better candidates out there than sherrone moore. the timeline prevented them from making a serious run at them, but there were lots of better candidates. jedd fisch, dan lanning, kaleb deboer. all had been taken by the time harbaugh made it official.
  19. and they still have massive holes at edge, cb, and really could have used jalen carter. as for free agents, lots of teams have tons of cap room. if the bears and lions want the same guy, he aint coming here. if wilkins or jones hits the market, i expect the bears to sign one of them. bears are about to clear even mpre cap space by dealing fields to some dumb team who thinks he's lamar jackson 2.0.
  20. normally i would agree with the "no point in firing him now" course of action. however, howard was supposedly on a "double secret probation" with the only caveat being it wasnt very secret. and he acted violently again. and still nothing. warde manuel never acts proactively about anything. he sits around and waits for others to act. the easiest course of action is to do nothing, and that's what he does. they all knew harbaugh was leaving, did they act proactively to contact other potential coaches like other schools do? i dont know, but i would be stunned if they did. now they have a rookie head coach in charge of the school's jewel program and top money maker. good luck. they should be making contacts with represenatatives from top coaches right now. the nate oates' of the world. feeling them out. a succession plan should already be in place. with manuel, he's probably doing what he does best: sitting behind a desk doing nothing. waiting for juwan's contract to run out, which is the worst thing for the program.
  21. on the contrary, i am shocked when warde manuel takes action, not when he sits around and waits for someone else to do something.
  22. pens lost. everything else was bad.
  23. this is what the playoffs are going to look like.
