trente jones declares for the draft. that hurts. harbaugh confirmed interview with the chargers. the raiders making a short term decision like hiring antonio pierce instead of talking to harbaugh is a very raiders decision to make.

how bad are the wizards?

TRADE ALEC BURKS NOW!

when the cubs won in 2016 the apocalypse happened and trump got elected president. i cant imagine what horrors would unfold if the LIONS won the super bowl in an election year...

i want to know what's inside your head. 🙂

pistons playing inspired basketball after the trade! the wizards? not so much. they muat be suffering from the thought of not getting to play with gallo anymore.

rod moore coming back. that's huge. thanks nil!

that was not an obvious hold on hutch. that was an obvious pass interference call on sutton that wasnt called. and it wasnt the only one. the lions secondary got away with a lot. in fairness, we dont know if the rams got away with similar stuff because they didnt show a lot of downfield camera angles. that said, the lions surely did. that's life. and its about time the lions got some benefit of the doubt from the refs. this is why you work so hard to get homefield advantage: the crowd put the rams off a couple times and may have influenced the refs to swallow the whistle. it happens all the time and this time we benefitted. no need to apologize or whataboutthis it.

dan campbell's aggression was a big factor in winning this game (along with the refs swalloing the whistle on PI in the second half). he went for a td on 4th and goal when the lions were rolling. he let goff pass twice on the last drive instead of just running up the gut to burn clock. and mcvay wasting two time outs early in order to get "perfect play calls" burned him in the end. he's one of the best play callers in the league but also one of the worst in the nfl in burning time outs early. stafford was his usual stafford self: big arm, taking big punishment and somehow playing through it. just like he was as a lion. and just like he was as a lion, he didnt win the big game in detroit even though it wasnt his fault. but to me this was about dan campbell and jared goff. campbell is a great coach and goff played very well in the first half and on the last drive...other than his almost catastrophic fumble pass that the lions fortunately recovered. now...on to the mock draft machine to see if there are on cornerbacks worth drafting! lol.

it has nothing to do with that. youre just looking at what you think danilo galinari is (tall, can shoot 3s) and thinking "hey, the pistons need shooting and floor spacers so that will help." yet, he doesnt shoot 3s much anymore. he doesnt play much anymore. he cant defend anyone who can move anymore. like isaiah stewart, teams arent likely to defend him much on the perimeter because his shot is inconsistent and he cant make an offensive move once teams close down. in theory, this is better than marvin bagley. in reality, this means even more james wiseman at the 5 and less offense than what bagley brought (bagley was actually decent on offense this year). i understand what you think galinari is, but i dont think he is that player anymore. its like joe harris: he used to be good. he is no longer that player. this move was made for contracts with an outside idea of galinari getting playing time so he can possibly get a contract next year (the boss' son is his agent. see trading three second round picks to take deivydas). not to mention trading away two second round picks to make this move, one of which is the pistons 2025 pick which will be very high on the draft board. once again, a terrible use of assets by a gm who has made a career of terribly using assets.

jaydn davis is a true freshman whose stock dropped considerably over the last couple years when he didnt grow any taller and his game flatlined a bit. in fairness, so did mccarthys and you have to be pretty impressed with michigan's scouting ability. that said, davis is not starting at michigan next year. i doubt he plays outside a few early season blow outs. if they have designs on the big ten they need a more veteran qb. they will need a qb from the portal. it opens again in april. they could use a receiver (or two) also.

edwards comes back. interesting choice but that should help. i think people might be surprised how good kalel mullings will be next year.
-
if that were true its just more evidence that tom gores has no ****ing clue. i cant believe ANYONE on this board thinks the corpse of danilo galinari is somehow a "win now" move.

their pusuers have a lot of games in hand, unfortunately. just keep winning and it will take care of itself. hopefully kane is ok.

stafford was fine in that press conference. people are trying to make a mountain out of a molehill. also, other than that ridiculously obvious offsides call that probably cost the lions 3 points, the refs really helped the lions. they had a pass interference call on the last play (a d a few other ones too), a borderline roughing call on hutch/mcneill they didnt call, and a potential unnecessary roughness call on kirby when he took out higbee's knees. i talk a lot about the refs ****ing the lions, but they really helped them last night. the benefits of playing at home against a non-marquee team.

jedd fisch is a brilliant hire by washington.
