  1. fields has been one of the worst qbs in the league in the 4th quarter of close games. the bears keeping fields and paying him $40+ million would be great if youre a vikings, packers, and lions fan. the bears should take williams and get harbaugh to coach him. if they got harbaugh to coach fields, they'd probably do well too (see kapernick, colin).
  2. the cowboys and eagles losing would not surprise me.
  3. there is no college football equivalent in hockey. and no one is watching minor league hockey on tv. 10 million just watched georgia win a game by 60 points. the nhl wont get 10 million people to watch the stanley cup finals.
  4. so you want guys like sorsdal and martin to play/practice for an entire season and then play ANOTHER season right after? and then come back and play again in the late summer/fall? football is a tough game, i'm not sure people can take that much wear and tear and be successful for a long time. maybe qbs and wrs, but probably not guys getting hit on every play like linemen. this aint baseball.
  5. they keep trying to make a third league happen. it aint happening. not as long as college football exists.
  6. unfortunately that was always going to happen. the bears are coming next year. that trade will set them up for a decade. if the bears were a smart organization, they'd trade fields to a stupid, desperate team like atlanta, take williams #1, and hire jim harbaugh. since theyre the bears, i expect eberflus to be back next year.
  7. this might be your worst post ever.
  8. any qb can throw on the lions. i'm worried about whatever team the lions play. all i said was the rams looked pretty ****ty. they did they should have lost. eagles look crappy too.
  9. happy bears elimination day!
  10. the rams looked pretty ****ty in that game too.
  11. the giants are a bad football team.
  12. the rams defensive coordinator makes matt patricia look like bill belicheck.
  13. but he rarely shoots, is slow, and has no other move. so team's dont guard him and continue to pack the paint.
  14. Harbaugh now has a new agent. so he is definitely leaving if an nfl team makes him an offer.
  15. weird how 70 would report as eligible and then line up in an ineligible position, while 68 never reported but then did line up as eligible. he's a liar. he ****ed up and is covering his ass.
  16. replays showed decker was NOT covered up and was eligible. there was nothing wrong with the formation. also, skipper never even got close to the ref before the ref ran away. sewell and decker walk over and it looks like decker said something. then the ref announces 70 as eligible. i dont knkw what recourse the lions have at that point. they dont have any timeouts, the refs announce the wrong guy, what can they do? call an audible because the refs screwed up? in fairness to dallas, they were told 70 was eligible, not 68. so theyre not thinking about 68 (in theory). either way, this looks like a complete **** show by the refs.
  17. you're too old to be this grouchy. enjoy the lions run in the time you have left. lol. 😉
  18. then how do they determine who reported? is it a timing thing? did skipper report first? did decker then report late because skipper had already reported? the nfl will have some statement on it at some point and we'll get the ref's opinion. skipper was pretty heated on the sideline.
  19. youre very fired up about this. in the end it wont matter. it didnt matter in 2014 when the lions got screwed. it didnt matter on the calvin johnson play. it didnt matter on the seattle screw job. the narrative wont play. that's why it really hurts. because in the end it wont matter in three weeks. all it really means is that the lions wont be the #1 or #2 seed and they'll likely only get one home playoff game because of it.
  20. well what is he saying? is he saying skipper screwed up by reporting because two people cant report?
  21. we'll see how he plays on a ****ty team. actually, theyre pretty ****ty right now but he isnt the entire offensive game plan like cade is in detroit.
  22. technically, they have never lost at home... just kidding. to your point, dallas has been destroying everyone at home and averaging 40 points a game (a lot of that via defense), and detroit came in and played them toe to toe. it was a great effort by them, regardless of a potential ref mistake to blow a game winning play.
  23. would you trade cade for barnes straight up?
  24. it will make it even worse for the non playoff bowl games. which is fine with me. i dont watch any of them. couldnt care less.
