    Kasper benched. he went from first line hero to being benched. i wouldnt be too upset if they moved finnie down to the third line and put kasper up top. more worried about him moving forward as a viable second line center. he doesnt seem to play as well with kane/debrincat as copp does. his future might be on the wing.

    lamelo scored 8 points in the first minute or so and then did almost nothing the rest of the game except complain. great talent, but a loser player. maybe its because he's in a bad organization, but he seems more in it for lamelo than winning.

    Duren is still developing. we forget how raw he was when he got here. one of the problems with drafting a guy so raw is that theyre not fully developed when you have to make a decision on paying them long term.

    Holmstrom was a bigger dino ciccarelli. played very physical. elmer is still too passive for a dude his size. great hands, but sloooooow and weak. needs to get stronger and meaner.

    jaylon johnson had more turnovers than made baskets tonight.

    devise a system where the worst teams get first crack at the best young talent, then they get to keep that talent at below market cost for a signifcant amount of time. say....6 years. but the last three years will be based more on the market than the first three, which is when the team do the most developing and need some return on investment. that should make things pretty fair, dont you think?
