  1. red hawks. they keep the "red" and play up the minority angle. win win for washington.
  2. get ready. you'll be seeing a lot of it once the nfl season ends. he'll always be tied to the bears and raiders. its a lazy media narrative that will drive clicks.
  3. michigan got a nice recruiting class, but it's not in the same area code as ohio state, bama, etc. if they can build on this season and get back to the playoffs, and organize their NIL money cannon, they can start to compete with the big boys on the recruiting field. until then we'll be looking at an occasional upset of ohio state and then a beat down at the hands of the sec's best as the best we can do.
  4. grant is also hurt. not sure what you can get for him now. that said, i've been all aboard the trade grant train for a long time. he's not doing anything for the pistons, really. and he's the best realistic trade asset they have. keeping him for "veteran leadership" is just dumb, imo.
  5. sewell and brown have been definite hits this year. the jury is still out on mcneill, levi, barnes, and melifonwu.
  6. boyle is a fine backup qb. doesnt cost a lot and has some upside.
  7. after seeing mobley play so well, i dont see why holmgren cant too.
  8. remember, this is a guy who quit on the raiders, recorded a call with his coach and then played it in an professionally produced internet post. and he STILL got hired after that. multiple times. and then faked his covid vax card, lied to his team and his coach about it. his coach said he bad a zero tolerance policy for brown. he STILL got brought back. we'll see. he may not come back this year, but he'll be somewhere next year if he wants to be.
  9. dont bet on it. brown is still a great player. someone will give him another shot. could be the bucs again.
  10. rams win. stafford came back to throw two tds.
  11. 5-1. bad goal from ned.
  12. and now its 4-1.
  13. zadina falls asleep and its 3-1
  14. none of late term rebuild holland's first round picks are panning out. rasmussen (a huge reach with necas sitting right there) svechnikov cholowski (passed on chychrun) zadina (over hughes) veleno not one star player among them. not one guy who projects as more than a third line player. yzerman has three drafts and the first two have produced two stars in the making and the third one is looking like the real deal too.
  15. the most surprising thing from this game so far was rasmussen making TWO checks on the same shift! he should be doing that on every shift. for someone so big, he plays so soft.
  16. and oesterle....and dekyser... the bruins top line is killing them. not that that's unexpected, the bruins top line is really good.
  17. for the #6 pick in the draft, zadina really hasnt panned out like we hoped. still time though.
  18. referring people to go to the political forum is such an awful thing to do, lee. shame on you. lol.
  19. that's what i thought would happen against ohio state. georgia, ohio state, alabama, maybe lsu or clemson. theyre the only ones who can compete with each other talent wise. unlike ohio state, georgia exposed michigan's defensive weakness at linebacker and corner. and maybe most importantly, michigan wasnt playing at home. makes me think next year in columbus is not going to be pretty.
  20. they're big and they can actually play. unlike rasmussen and smith and kenny's later years draft picks.
  21. diallo is actually an upper level nba athlete, unlike almost everyone else on the team. but he cant shoot. c'est la vie. jackson is just a chucker. now, the world needs chuckers, but he's never going to be more than a guy who comes off the bench to score when he's hot.
  22. walton had bad feet. zion has a bad diet.
  23. lol at the pistons getting the #6 pick in the draft PLUS for jerami grant. if that was on the table the pistons would say yes faster than you can imagine.
