the lockdown is now for everyone.
after that lockdown is over, they are going to do a lockdown for unvaccinated people in conjunction with a national vaccine mandate.

i didnt really follow the rittenhouse thing. what it points out to me is that all americans should get the same "reasonable doubt" that rittenhouse got. and that doesnt happen, and it especially doesnt happen to a lot of black americans.
yes, thank goodness for those early 90s crime bills! lol.
around here, crime was up in 2016, and then down in 2017-2019, then up again in 2020 and 2021.
still, nothing like the crack era in major cities around the late 80s, early 90s. although i would bet that the murder rate in chicago would be a lot higher now if we still had early 90s level medical treatments.
unless you're going to turn simmons into a center, he'd be taking the ball out of cade's hands and doing nothing to help with spacing.
plus philly will want our first round pick next year.
now that i think about it, can we trade our first round pick? its already potentially promised to houston.
as you said, the democrats will lose seats because the party in power ALWAYS loses seats. no matter what.
if the economy is still doing well and inflation is under control, the democrats will lose less seats. but something will go wrong between now and then - it always does - and the party in power will be blamed regardless of fault.
lots of time between now and november 2022.
as a michigan fan every game terrifies me but ohio state. i know theyre going to lose to ohio state and have prepared myself accordingly. every other game they should win but as a michigan fan somehow have this feeling of dread that they will somehow blow it.
you get every nhl game on espn+. before you could only do that by buying the "center ice" package on cable/satellite and that cost $150+ per year.
now you can get it on espn+ for whatever it is a month and also get all the other stuff on espn+.
espn+ is my favorite channel. i love it. hope they get the nba on there soon.
i still have a hard time with this guy looking for trouble and running around with an assault weapon and then claiming self-defense when he gets beat up.
i dont think you dont get to instigate and then claim self defense, but i havent been following it close enough to say.
the fact that the jury has been out for three days is interesting. im not sure who that benefits. its obvious there is a lot of dissension in the jury room.
in a way, the narrative has become so bad for the dems that unless its a colossal republican wave it will look like the dems did better than expected!
but it aint looking good. and lets remember that every administration gets trounced in the first mid terms, even popular ones like obama and reagan.
a relatively unpopular president plus inflation? oh boy. landslide.
theyre about to lockdown in germany and austria again despite relatively high levels of vaccination.
are you ready for this continued cycle for the next five years? ten?
and usc is hurt by their inability to get into the playoff. just like all the good programs who have fallen a bit behind (penn state, michigan, usc, florida, miami, florida state), that inability to crack into the top 4 has hurt their standing with the top recruits. bama, clemson, ohio state, georgia generally monopolize the best players and thus become the top teams.
26! oy vey, just a baby. 🙂
usc is a blue blood program with a large, rich fan base and a long history and expectation for success.
they are like michigan (only more successful because they got to play their bowl games at home) as a big time program who is no longer elite.
usc-ucla used to be a really big game. now its nothing. heck, usc-notre dame used to be one of the biggest games every year and now no one really pays attention.
i think theyre hurt because they are in los angeles and no one in los angeles cares unless you are winning. bandwagon town unless youre the dodgers or lakers.
usc is in a hotbed of recruiting and has little west coast competition.
agree on texas.
miami doesnt have the same tradition as texas and usc or the same resources and it has a lot of competition in the state. tennessee is competing with fellow sec money. nebraska has no recruiting base.
but i get your point. however, i would rank usc's potential above all those other programs except texas.
new abc poll has 51% of registered voters planning to vote republican in the midterms vs 41% democrats.
that's the biggest margin for republicans in this poll in over 40 years.
