Hm or not I think twitter messed up its embeds again

Some highlights from last night's Griffins win:

Awful play by Husso to try to play the puck, gives away an easy goal. He's been good this game too, ugh

What a shot by Big Ras! He was a bit of a goat having net front coverage on the Canes' first goal and he took a penalty so that's good to see

Looks like Larkin is back at practice, non contact jersey

He's looked a lot better the last few games, hopefully he keeps it up

You don't see this too often from a defenseman, nice read to get down low behind their D

It feels like Raymond has been great at drawing penalties this season

This Veleno - Rasmussen - Raymond line has been in their own zone a ton, Veleno takes a penalty now

Veleno has made at least two awful plays with the puck in his own zone so far, settle down Joe!

Nice play in the corner by new 3C Fischer to dig it out and dish to Fabbri, touch pass to Sprong who buries it! 1-0!

I'm a bit worried about how this game is going to go haha. Lets see if 1C Joe Veleno puts the team on his back.

Seeming rumors that the Wings are active in trade talks including Berggren

I'm definitely under-qualified to answer this but I don't really think so with the options available. There's no room for him on the Red Wings (I'm sure they would rather have him play more center minutes in the WHL than a fourth/third line winger role in the NHL right now anyways) and even if he were eligible for Grand Rapids this year, Kasper is already stuck as their third line C so not much room there either. Even with subpar teammates I think the idea is to keep him playing a ton of minutes in all situations. It's a shame there isn't a way for him to play top center minutes in Grand Rapids this season but I think this is best for what they can do right now. This gives him some more time in the weight room before going against adults full time as well.

His team is awful. I think they had a three game stretch where the only goal they scored was an unassisted short handed goal by Nate. He also had a slow start transitioning back to the WHL which doesn't surprise me when you go from NHL players to one of the worst WHL squads. I'm much more interested to see how he does at the WJC on Canada.

I'm still pissed about what happened to Larkin. I am ready for someone like Kostin to just beat the absolute piss out of Joseph and I don't care if it is "dirty". Hell it has me nodding my head to Gudbrason jumping Cousins yesterday.

Embarrassing loss, I didn't even get to see it I just had to listen to it from the other room!
