Seeming rumors that the Wings are active in trade talks including Berggren

I'm definitely under-qualified to answer this but I don't really think so with the options available. There's no room for him on the Red Wings (I'm sure they would rather have him play more center minutes in the WHL than a fourth/third line winger role in the NHL right now anyways) and even if he were eligible for Grand Rapids this year, Kasper is already stuck as their third line C so not much room there either. Even with subpar teammates I think the idea is to keep him playing a ton of minutes in all situations. It's a shame there isn't a way for him to play top center minutes in Grand Rapids this season but I think this is best for what they can do right now. This gives him some more time in the weight room before going against adults full time as well.

His team is awful. I think they had a three game stretch where the only goal they scored was an unassisted short handed goal by Nate. He also had a slow start transitioning back to the WHL which doesn't surprise me when you go from NHL players to one of the worst WHL squads. I'm much more interested to see how he does at the WJC on Canada.

I'm still pissed about what happened to Larkin. I am ready for someone like Kostin to just beat the absolute piss out of Joseph and I don't care if it is "dirty". Hell it has me nodding my head to Gudbrason jumping Cousins yesterday.

To be fair the Sharks have scored 5+ in their last three games before this, I have a feeling teams get too relaxed against them

Some lazy defense from Seider leads to a tying goal, unreal bounce off the end boards right to Hertl in front. I guess you can't expect that bounce but I'd like to see the Wings' defense with better positioning there

Zadina has played the least amount of time of any Shark (9:15) and is still -1, I can't believe I have a jersey of his!

Just when I feel like I notice Kane's skating doesn't look fantastic, he gets in on an offensive break because he read the play well enough to get out ahead of it. I really hope that hip holds up over an extended period of play this season.
