I think you're remembering correctly, I am pretty sure Justin took mma or boxing lessons (or both?) to try to get to be a better fighter. I don't think it ever worked to be honest I don't remember him winning too many scraps. It looks like this kid is three inches taller than Abdelkader and played for the NTDP so I'm hoping he can be a useful player somehow.

I thought I read that arbitration could bring in less than the $9m qualifying offer for DeBrincat but it isn't very clear to me.

I would also love the Wings to get McDavid but that's probably just as likely. The Jets wanted roster players for PLD, not picks/prospects for a full rebuild. There's little chance they're giving up Connor right now on the contract he has.

Not optimal players but a nice way to utilize your cap space to get assets for nothing. Kostin certainly adds size.

I'm tempted to shove Mazur at 4 or 5 based on how confident I am that he will be a NHLer, but I am not sure if I can argue with this list much at all. I'm really excited to follow Danielson and Pellikka this upcoming season.
