Lashoff's last home game*** The Griffins are actually on the NHL Network at 8 pm tonight I think for their last game at Chicago

Griffins fell in Lashoff's last game before retirement. The Griffins made it a big to do with a lot of old teammates recording videos for Lashoff, it was fun.

Oddly enough Bednard looks really good so far from what I've seen, he just made a really nice splits save. I didn't realize he has a .922 save percentage through 5 games so far. It seems like the Griffins are playing teams fighting for playoff spots too.

I missed it but it looks like Lombardi got the primary assist on Hirose's goal tonight, Griffins up 1-0 after a period. Nice speed on the puck retrieval then a nice dish to Hirose. This hype train is going wild

This is exactly how I feel about both franchises oddly enough. I still hate all the old Avs players but I don't mind the current iteration.

No Crosby or Ovechkin in the playoffs, Blackhawks just announced that Toews is playing his last game as a Blackhawk. Changing of the guard really happening around the league. Also I am VERY thankful the Penguins have no shot at Bedard, it feels like they would "luck" into him if they had even a half percentage chance.

I have to say I really enjoy the OHL announcer's enthusiasm, it sounds like he's losing his mind every time there's a goal scored.

I'm starting to see what Yzerman and co saw in Cossa, he is looking more composed using his athleticism and size. Those highlights were against the top team in Toledo's division (Walleye are in second), 33 saves in the 4-1 win.

Another year of development will do wonders for kids at this age especially when they're 19 in the OHL, but jumping from 59 points in 67 games last season to 102 points in 67 games this season is pretty impressive. I'm really excited to see where he goes from here.
