  1. How about that damn hockey helmet and stick.
  2. The Miggie Farewell Tour is entering its last week. 🙏 It’s been a looong tour.
  3. Brant Hurter starting tomorrow night for Erie. Hurter won Game #1 last week at Richmond.
  4. Erie is 6-6 after six. Flores gives up three earned runs in two innings as the starter.
  5. Erie down 3-0 after three.
  6. As someone here already suggested, it was probably regifted.
  7. ERod raised his stock a little bit today. Really good outing.
  8. ERod hits the 100 pitch mark. Now the bullpen 🫣
  9. Forget Greenberg. When can you start?
  10. I was going to drop Chris Brown’s name regarding third base. Wasn’t he the guy Sparky was so big on for a while? I looked Chris Brown up to verify my recollections. I found the following information. Who knew! Wiki: After retirement, Brown lived in Houston, Texas, with his wife Lisa and their two children, Paris Brown and Gordon Pickett. In 2004, Brown worked in Iraq driving an 18-wheel truck delivering diesel fuel for Halliburton. He took fire on numerous occasions, including in a convoy that was attacked on April 9, 2004, in which six Halliburton drivers and one soldier were killed, and another driver was kidnapped and later released.[1] By 2006, Brown had returned to the United States. Brown died at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston on December 26, 2006, nearly a month after he suffered burns in a fire at a vacant house he owned in Sugar Land, Texas. He was 45 years of age.
  11. Win or lose today, Erie will host a game Tuesday night. Maybe the org would prefer Jobe pitch in front of the home crowd. I’m sure it would be a better turnout for Erie. Erie is currently conducting an online auction of special game worn jerseys for Alzheimer’s research. Most all the bid/asks are around $100 with the exception of Jobe’s jersey. It is currently listed at $260. The players signed their jerseys.
  12. This is the seventh consecutive losing for the Tigers. Ridiculous.
  13. Here we are, one week from the end of another rebuild season, in spite of what the owner believes. If the Tigers don’t have an honest goal of winning this division next year it will be inexcusable, irregardless of what ERod does. I hope Greenberg can make an immediate difference in Detroit.
  14. I think it would be a good experience for him. It looks as though Flores is starting for Erie according to their site.
  15. Erie opens their Eastern League championship series today. As of now, the starter isn’t posted. Jobe would be well rested.
  16. If you listen to Hinch you’ll never know the plan. I thought Wentz was going to continue to start and Faedo was headed to the pen. I can’t keep up with his ‘plan.’
  17. Today was E Day, or was that yesterday…
  18. Oakland may have the worst record in baseball but they’re not the worst team in baseball now.
  19. MLB app says 4:07 as well. Miguel Diaz starting for the Tigers.
  20. Oh ye of little faith. Have we just given up on a 9 game win streak to finish at .500! 🫣
  21. You can blame the owner for that. Dan impressed me hugely last night by tearing into the ownership of the A’s and how they have neglected the park, the team, and totally screwed over the fans. He spent maybe five minutes of air time breaking the whole thing down. He was very critical of the owner, calling his name several times. I wish I could have recorded his words. Nobody anywhere could have said as much as he did so succinctly. And every syllable was the absolute truth. Yes the team is bad. But the issue all along has been the greedy owner using the team as a pawn for what he wanted. That MLB allows this is disgusting.
  22. Seven of the Tampa Bay Rays regular bullpen arms are 30 years of age or greater.
  23. Ah yes, I’m hearing my chant.
  24. Erie advances to the championship round after beating Richmond tonight and will play Binghamton (Mets) for the Eastern League Championship. Ty Madden with the W tonight.
