He's never been hidden. It has always been obvious. but there is a lot of competition trying to get the attention of the American public. Why is it that I have no clue who Taylor Swift or Kanye West are, but it seems the whole country knows everything about them? It is because I don't give a **** about them and they are not part of the media which I consume. It's the same thing with people not knowing about Trump. There is so much media and social media that people can carve out what they pay attention to and ignore everything else. There are millions of people who simply don't see Trump as the psychopath that he is, because the media that they consume do not portray him that way. In fact, there is very little of that kind of portrayal in the media, because they need him and want him to win.

Scaramucci said he thinks Trump is smart about some things, but that he has a learning disability that holds him back and that he is insecure about it.

That trade was what made me realize Smith was an awful GM. There have been trades with worse results, but a mediocre team trading away a bunch of young talent for a one-year rental who doesn't fit your new ballpark was just a bad idea. Avila was bad at player develpment, but that was a deal he would never make.

That reminds me that he mocked the disabled reporter and his cult to this day claims it never happened. They said he acts that way all the time, so he wasn't mocking him.

That cap is too busy. If you read it too quickly which is easy to do when somebody walks by in a cap, it says "vote for Joe Psycho"

Most people in this forum and elsewhere predicted an easy win for Clinton in 2016 even though the numbers didn't show it. I am also not very confident that Biden will win. I say it's 50/50 right now. I also agree that Biden is unspiring and that his success is based on not being Dump. I fear some people may have forgotten how unbearable Trump is and won't participate this time.

Because the housewife thing is just schtick. She has most likely been cultivating her accent for polics for years, much like Trump.

It's interesting that none of the Biden haters can express what it is that they hate about Biden. Is it just that he's a Democrat and they have been indoctrinated to believe that Democrats are the enemy? I really don't get politics.

Trump showed the worst leadership in a time of crisis of any President in my lifetime. He acted like he didn't give a ****. How anybody could have watched his performance during Covid and think that he is competent is beyond me.

I agree. Anybody expecting to see a senile old man must have been disappinted. It did sound like a campaign speech, but that's what you are going to get in today's political environment. It was an effective one. I love how he shredded his "predecessor" too. I doubt this speech moves the needle very far in terms of votes, but I think it dispells any notions that he is mentally incompetent.

He was a bad player overall last year. Just not a bad fielder.

It's a legitimate topic in general, but when it is brought up by a high level politician who knows what kind of system she is getting into, it sounds disingenuous.

His offense is terrible. I'd prefer that they not be stuck with him. I believe his defense is still pretty good. I am not defending him so much as questioning the out-of-date stats you are presenting to make him look like an even worse player than he is.

I think it's too late to change him. Let him be himself and maybe he gets his power back. Of course, they know more than me, but turning him into an on base guy seems like a lost cause.

Baez may be a waste of a roster spot, but he doesn't suck at fielding. He was good enough to start in 2022 and while I'm not convinced he can get back to that level, I think it's possible. The only real difference between Baez in 2023 and some of his good years was lack of power If he gets that back along with his good fielding, he can be useful.

Fielding Percentage is a terrible stat. It doesn't take into account how many plays a fielder makes. It just penalizes him for errors. According to statcast outs above average, Baez was in the 95th percentile last year. That isn't the absolute answer, but I'll certainly take it over fielding percentage, which is practically useless by itself.

yes, Trump has no intellect, but he is a skilled salesman who knows how to manipulate people. It's just amazing to me how many people fall for his act.
