I don't expect anything from most of the Tigers prospects, but that doesn't mean I have written them off. I agree that the new administration has nothing to do with it. I have chosen to think positively about the new admin for a couple of years, but realistically they are still largely an unknown.

How about we put him in the same bucket as all the other pitching prospects? He was unproven and now he's hurt and won't pitch all year. He may come back, but I think it's fair to say he is not a top pitching prospect in baseball at the moment.

They haven't mentioned surgery. He may just go the rehab route which I think is common for lumbar issues...unless the rehab does not work.

All of that is correct. The only thing to be determined will be what other things he'll get away with if he becomes president again (which is a real possibility). I think one of the main reasons he'll get away with it is that so many other politicians are also committing crimes (to a lesser degree than Trump) and they want to keep on getting away with it. They all like their lack of accountability and don't want to set a precedent.

There are definitely many variables to be considered, but I would expect more stolen bases this year with the larger bases and pickoff rule change. 64% seems like a lot, but it would be pretty cool if it happens. I think there needs to be more action in the game.

I just don't think it's stricty a position battle. I believe that if they think Baddoo and Carpenter will contribute offensively, they will keep them both. I don't think They will drop one of them just because they need a back-up first baseman. However, if one or both doesn't look like a contributor, they may go for more flexibility.
