  1. Yup, I've gotten tired of talking about it. It's the dsame thing over and over again and it's obvious that nobody that matters cares.
  2. I doubt his tweets are even him. However, allowing someone to represent him in this way is nuts.
  3. Looking at his stats, I am not surprised that nobody wanted him. His walk rate is scary. The Tigers apparently saw aomething in him they think they can fix. I know he is high velocity.
  4. The USAIDS cuts are not going to be reversed, so it's not just his legacy.
  5. I don't know. I'd probably act like that too if I had to listen to that voice in the background.
  6. I wasn't referring to anything you said. I was talking in general. I don't like whataboutisms because there is no way you can compare what Trump does to other past presidents. However, Democrats can be critcized separately from whataboutisms.
  7. I appreciate that this forum is dedicated to trashing Trump. It's why I come here! However, I think criticism of things that Democrats do is fine too, not as a defense of what Republicans are doing, but as a statement of things they do that posters don't like.
  8. Or maybe they wanted the Tigers to sign players because they thought the the Tigers were close to being a playoff team and they could improve their chances by filling some holes. On the other hand, there was this one guy who thought the Tigers shouldn't sign anyone because they were not ready yet. 😃
  9. It was pretty predictable given his low walk rate and relatively high k rate. Those guys never seem to age well.
  10. As much as I love Whitaker, he is not in the same class as Verlander. Whitaker should be in the Hall of Fame based on having been very good for so long, but he never had an MVP type season. Verlander has longevity and he also had multiple years where he was the best pitcher in baseball.
  11. There is no maybe... unless he fails a PED test, gambles on a game he is pitching in or has relations with an underage girl.
  12. They don't have pitch clock bets.
  13. That's the way most bullpens are. One of the most important things a manager can do to help his team win games is to manage the bullpen successfully. Hinch has been very good at it.
  14. It is hard to say. He injured his quad running the bases. It wasn't necessarily a cumulative thing like a stress factor or something that was destined to happen. It could have just been an unlucky movement on the bath path.
  15. Sanders is extreme? I believe you've said yourself that he is not extreme and that your beef with him was not his policy positions.
  16. Is this compared to the first third of last year or all of last year? Home runs usually increase in the summer. If it's a real change, then it's a good one.
  17. I was even more surprised by Haas.
  18. I don't remember Porcello throwing a Maddux. I remember him throwing a lot of Porcellos (6 IP/ 3 ER).
  19. That's what I heard too.
  20. It's been a rough series. This is the first time since the opening series versus the Dodgers that Tigers fans have been brought back to reality. They've got a good team, but it's not going to be all magic all the time.
  21. Should of signed with the Tigers. They never get hurt.
  22. That's what I mean about having too narrow of a role. I was arguing that he's not a black hole, not that I think they should keep him on the roster.
  23. I am not saying they should keep him on the roster, just that I don't consider him a black hole. If he could play in the field, it would be easier to deal with his extreme platoon split.
