  1. On the positive side, most of them will be fired within a year and they'll be mocked and humiliated by Trump.
  2. It originated with Heyman, so it's not reliable. It does makes sense though. I don't really expect them to sign an expensive FA, but if they do, I think it would be Bregman. He is a great fit and has a connection to Hinch.
  3. In the modern world, whoever has the most money determines the "truth".
  4. There are 330 million people in this country who can't even come close to agreeing on what's true and what isn't. I even hear a lot of people saying that the truth doesn't matter to them. I can't listen to 330 million people and a lot of them are not worth listening to. I weed them out. I like to hear views different from my own, but I don't need to hear lies and bull****. So, I weed those people out.
  5. Nothing really. Having my head up my ass would not be so good though.
  6. I assumed you were responding to my post and you were telling me that I lived in a bubble and had my head up my ass. I try to be kind, but don't respond kindly to stuff like that. I think we all live in bubbles to some extent. We all have different experiences and and learn things in different ways.
  7. So, you know everything there is to know in the world? All I was doing was questioning Del. He made some good points in reponse. If you were referring to me blocking Musk and Trump, I'm sorry but Trump is an idiot and a fraud, no need to hear anymore from him. Musk may be smart, but he was saying stupid stuff on Twitter so I blocked him.
  8. That is because his whole life has been about accumulating wealth and he is not a good businessman.
  9. I know what you are saying, but as long companies can do it and they are not regulated, I feel as if they are just as dangerous as the government. Somebody has always been bound to use this capability for nefarious purposes as I am sure they have already done. Trump could not begin to understand how to do this on his own, so he'll need help from others.
  10. They might monitor you if you are doing damage to their company with media stories or law suits. The fact that they have the capability to do this is a problem, always has been.
  11. People who use their big yaps for a living don't understand telework and hybyid.
  12. I feel like big compnies are already doing this. They seem to know everything I am doing.
  13. I block most of the liberal political accounts too. Twitter is generally a terrible place to learn anything useful about politics.
  14. It probably pertains to you too.
  15. I actually found twitter useful from a baseball perspective, but all the right wing political stuff they try to jam down your throat is just too creepy for me. BlueSky is not any more useful so far, but the environment is more enjoyable. It should get more useful as more people join.
  16. Oh, OK. I didn't even notice because I blocked him On January 20, 2016. Also blocked Musk pretty quickly, although I think he later prevented himself from being blocked.
  17. My assumption is that social media has helped Trump a lot all along. I am not convinced that Musk buying Twitter has changed anything.
  18. Looks like he beat you to it.
  19. Was that because he bought Twitter for 30B or in spite of it?
  20. Republicans have always peached that collective suffering in the short-term will bring long-term prosperity. Unfortunately, it's generally just a small percentage that gains long-term. The 35% will believe everythng he says, but I am not sure that some of the working class people who converted to Trump will be so patient in a downturn.
  21. What Hinch/Fetter did the last two months was remarkable. In fact, it went beyond what I have seen Tigers management do in over 50 years following the team. For whatever reasons though, I don't feel as if the team overperformed the first four months. I would have voted for Hinch, but the Indians and Royals improved more over 162 games than the Tigers did, so I can understand why the vote went how it did.
  22. Most Blacks I know feel disrespected by the White community at large. They are past being offended by exclusion. It's expected. They do like to have a functioning government because it's their best chance.
  23. Tigers DFA Vanasco, White and Leonard. Add two Tylers and a Chase. https://bsky.app/profile/codystavenhagen.bsky.social/post/3lbdk6tvsv226
  24. I didn't know we were talking about court rulings. I thought we were talking about people that didn't get chosen for cabint positions. I think racism has a lot to do with court rulings, but that's another argument apparently.
  25. They already know he's a racist, so there is no need to get upset. They are just oppotunitists trying to use him the same way he uses them.
