It makes sense from a money-making standpoint. For the last 60 years, the Lions have been passive income even when terrible. I’m sure the margins are astronomical now that they’re good, but they were never losing money for the family.

I have an easier time seeing Michigan winning this game than I had seeing Michigan beating Georgia two years ago. I’m not going to defend Ryan Day, but Ohio State this year didn’t turtle like they did the last two years. They went punch for punch and just turned the ball over too many times. This is probably the worst Alabama team in five years. Which says a lot for how great that program is. Their WRs are not Jerry Jeudy, Jamo, or Henry Ruggs and their RBs are not Jahmyr Gibbs or Derrick Henry. They’re still very good, but they’re not an NFL caliber team. Milroe is very good, but turnover prone. If Michigan plays the brand of mistake-free football that got them this far, and capitalizes on Milroe’s mistake(s), I think it will be a one-possession game either direction.

I think the expectations are very different for Michigan basketball to Ohio State football. If M basketball generally makes the tournament and sprinkles in a Sweet 16 every now and then, Juwan would be fine. Instead they're losing to McNeese State and he keeps being a massive distraction by acting like a physically aggressive toddler.... If Ohio State goes 11-1 but that one loss is to Michigan, there are torches and pitchforks. Curious what becomes of this Catapult scandal. Three losses in a row to Michigan and then scoring three points in your NY6 bowl? I wouldn't be shocked if there is some pearl clutching in Columbus.

It's his third string QB, so probably.... but it won't be a fun offseason, especially if he stands pat at QB.
