  1. I’m out of reactions, but I for one appreciate you and your knee jerk reactions…. Especially after a win. 😉
  2. You’re describing everything I remember about the Caldwell era.
  3. I just love that Bears fans came in fully expecting to lose, lost, but managed to lose in such a fashion as to completely devastate the fanbase anyway. It’s got a Lionesque artistic quality to it.
  4. I just did the math in the week 12 thread, but I think we are heading straight towards a Christmas Eve clinching party in Minneapolis.
  5. At the risk of putting the cart before the horse.... Lions have a 2 1/2 game lead in the North with seven left for the Lions and six left for the Vikings, two against each other. If the Lions can win their next three (v. Packers, @ Saints, @ Bears) and are sitting at 11-2, while the Vikings go 1-1 (v. Bears, Bye, @ Raiders) and sit at 7-6, OR the Lions go 2-1 and the Vikings go 0-2, the Lions would clinch with a win at home against the Broncos, without having played Minnesota even once. Ideal for many reasons, not the least of which would be that the home crowd deserves it. If the Lions go 3-0 and the Vikings lose to the Bears, we would actually be watching the Vikings/Raiders 4:05 game in week 14 with the chance of clinching with a Raiders victory. Most likely might be clinching the following week on Christmas Eve in Minnesota. Any later and you start to sweat, with Lions/Cowboys and Packers/Vikings in week 17, followed by the final showdown in week 18.
  6. BRONCOS COUNTRY, LET'S RIDE.
  7. Hock gonna Hock.
  8. ESPN says Broncos have a 71.8% chance to win.... I would put it around 40%.
  9. Too much time, right? Denver doesn't have a Hutch to strip sack for a safety.
  10. Denver playing Madden with this play calling. Just play 'square' over and over with a toss to the HB.
  11. That was a late flag for a very obvious DPI.
  12. Can the Broncos score a TD tonight?
  13. 3rd and 20... Lions would have committed a defensive penalty on this play for 56 minutes today. -edit- or done exactly that.
  14. Maybe, just maybe, coaches aren't worth draft picks.
  15. Constantly feels like they're on the verge of a massive collapse where they have a 4-13 season, and then they win five games by a combined 8 points and are in the playoff race.
  16. Probably DPI but that needs to be caught.
  17. In this case, I am alllllll for it.
  18. That's worth a first and second round pick right there.
  19. Overseen in the Bears Message Board, posted at 3:35 EST. Oops.
  20. I could see this, though they'd still have $12.5MM to pay Love if he's not their guy next year.
  21. I don’t think I would spend draft capital on him. There are lots of good DCs out there. But if he gets fired for a full scale rebuild in Nashville, I’d have no problem spending whatever we paid Ben Johnson to Mike Vrabel instead.
  22. Non-zero chance we play them three times in four weeks from week 16 to the wildcard round.
  23. I think Vrabel is a top ten NFL HC. Not to say they might not get rid of him during a whole scale rebuild, but the Titans problems have nothing to do with Vrabel. If they did, I’d love to offer him the DC job when Glenn takes a HC job.
