  1. Agreed on all fronts. Michigan could have a 1-11 season, beat Ohio State, and be at the bar on the Monday after and say "I don't guys, it wasn't all bad." They could still finish 8-5 too. I would expect they go to the ReliaQuest Bowl against a mediocre SEC team or Mayo Bowl against a mediocre ACC team. Playing against a Syracuse, East Carolina, Florida, or Texas A&M are all possible wins.
  2. It helps that the day of the juggernaut that was Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio State seems to be fading. Each has two losses and could easily have more.
  3. I'm not sure if it was real or not, but this possibility has to go through the mind of LaFleur.
  4. I've got the "Planting Flag Fines NIL Fund" on line two, willing to cover all costs. 😉
  5. I'm sure it's not really "allowed" now. They could make it a point of emphasis, increase fines, etc., but college kids are going to do what college kids are going to do. Like when there was a movement to try to stop fans from rushing the field, you can fine the schools to high heaven, but you're not necessarily going to stop it.
  6. It's honestly embarrassing for OSU. Like, now is when you take offense? NOW is when you take a proverbial stand?? They've been having their way with you for years, but not until now - after you lost a game you were expected to win by more than three scores - are you going to say "oh enough is enough" and put up a cowardly little fight at the middle of the field over a flag being proverbially planted? Hit the showers guys. Maybe next year.
  7. Gus Johnson got under my skin today. I liked him the last few years, but he sure seemed to have a crimson tint today. Whether it was laying it on thick with the "world famous" schtick (though he's always done that), or not referencing the blatant OPIs (one of which was called DPI), or the voice crack as Warren threw his second pick, or the stupid references to cheating as the game ended, or calling Michigan disrespectful for the flag stake (which is done frequently). I'll rewatch the game tonight and maybe it won't bother me as much, but it seemed like he was pretty upset to see a competitive game.
  8. Warren finished 9/16 for 62 yards, 0 TDs, and 2 INTs. Missing multiple wide open throws. And they won. His last throw was the interception at the goal line.
  9. If anyone is keeping track at home, since Ryan Day threatened to "hang a hundred on them" in August 2020: Michigan 130 Ohio State 84
  10. I agree. The one and only drive where they had success, they were running hurry up. They still needed an uncalled OPI to get into the end zone, but Michigan's DBs were routinely playing seven yards off the WR and Day/Kelly never adjusted. They insisted on running between the tackles, which is the one thing Michigan was selling out to stop.
  11. Cooper's final mark was 0.720. Day right now, including Michigan, is 0.857. Not including Michigan, he wins more than 9/10 games. He's insanely good, but can't win the one that matters most. I'm also not sure who you replace him with. Chip Kelly? Ask UCLA how that worked out for them.
  12. I have to imagine he'd be one of the most successful coaches ever fired. He's 65-7 in games not against Michigan. That's an insanely good mark.
  13. Gus Johnson has been such an Ohio State slappy all day long.
  14. I DO NOT BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!! WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW
  15. They haven't called a single hold today, I wouldn't bank on them calling one now. Have to just overpower them back into the pocket.
  16. I wouldn't shy away from pressure. A sack just about ends it.
  17. This was the one scenario where they succeeded in the first half, running hurry up.
  18. Ten second runoff! I was right, it was 10 seconds off.
  19. 45 seconds. No timeouts. Doesn't get any bigger than this.
