Exactly! They have accepted Trump as their Saviour in the same manner a religious person accepts Jesus Christ as their Saviour. As I understand it, being "saved" means your sins no longer count thus accepting Trump as a Saviour allows you to live a sinful life.

You wouldn't believe how many people I know who work in the medical field, including the operating room, who spout that till this very day. Yes. I know several people who think he is Jesus Christ, the second coming or however you want to frame it. They worship him now and will do so long after he passes. I mean this in an ecclesiastical sense. Him being indicted was equivalent to "Stations of the Cross" - as in "...and Jesus fell a third time" became "...and Trump was indicted a third time." The assassination attempt was the Resurrection - "....and Trump rose again." They include him in their prayers, pray to him directly and include him in their rosary prayers. It is a cult.
