  1. I'm assuming that by "capacity" you mean time/desire? Because I know you know minor pentatonic patterns 1 and 5 and it's a boatload of that... beyond that ist just the right hand finger picking and tonebar mechanics (which are picked up through reps). You would slay it bro, no problem
  2. Haven't check in with yah in a while, nice axe acquisition fellas. Anyone play steel at all? I picked up one of those cheap Rogue lap steels a few months ago ($99 at GC) and got infatuated. Obviously the 99 Rogue sucks, so the next thing I tried which I shoulda done originally is took an old gretch streamliner I have and put a nut raiser on it ($7 from sweetwater) but it didn't sound super clear. Gigged once with that setup.... Then I got this Asher Electro Hawaiian Jr. And it's a total beauty both looks and sound. So in like 3 months I've gone from never playing lapsteel to gigging it and writing parts for 2 songs to record at studio next month. Currently playing in dobro tuning (GBDGBD) so there are some common strings w standard tuning so can leverage some parts of know scale patterns.
  3. It's the 2nd word in Kimmels tweet to a-aron.
  4. I've been listening to Jim Rome almost daily since Byung Hyun Kim blew WS saves. Rome was on vacation last week so I put McAfee on instead and I didn't hate the show. I've begun to like him on GameDay too but it took a bit
  5. The a-ahole burn Kimmel used cracked me up
  6. I wouldn't really consider Pat McAfees statements to be an apology either. McAfee was just starting to grow on me a tad too.
  7. It's not new, nor is it specific to young people. Many old people get their news from fox news influencers and many gen x get their news from influencers like Joe Rogan
  8. I'll let you decide if you want other people to trust the folks you've bashed for years on this forum. It's definitely a you question.
  9. Lol at you claiming you bashing the media is an inference. And also doing it while inferring about me and Chas.
  10. So 30+ years of bashing journalists led to ppl going elsewhere? And to places that gasp disagree with Republicans? Need that reap/sow meme
  11. It's interesting to me that trumps legal defenses aren't along the lines of "I didn't crime". They're all some variety of "I'm allowed to crime".
  12. That sucks
  13. I won't read that article but I think immigrants are awesome and hope the democrats won't turn on them.
  14. if he's president he has presidential immunity
  15. But those words from Democrats didn't lead to insurrection. Why are we talking in hypotheticals?
  16. Trump also claimed the 2016 Iowa Caucuses were rigged when he lost to cancun ted
  17. So you're saying they did not engage in insurrection?
  18. I guess if the problem is that the GOP will misappropriate the amendment in response, the solution isn't to pretend the amendment doesn't exist. They could and may misappropriate the amendment regardless of any precedent.
  19. LOL. Apparently it's insurrection to disagree with the GOP.
  20. How could other states like TN, FL, TX, etc follow this and remove Biden from the ballot if Biden has never engaged in insurrection against the US?
  21. Imagine the Biden Crime Family after all of these SCOTUS precedents from Trump!
  22. Grateful Dead - ****'s Picks Volume 4 Beatles - Sgt Peppers Beatles - White Album Pixies- Trompe le Monde Jane's Addiction - Ritual de lo Habitual Soundgarden - badmotorfinger The Who - Who's Next Sepultura - Roots Public Enemy - Fear of a Black Planet Bob Dylan - Times they are a Changin
  23. Colorado Supreme Court says Trump isn't eligible to be president under 14th Amendment
  24. Chris Christie brought up that poll yesterday in an interview on CBS and just take it with a grain of salt, it had a pretty low number of respondents and that gives a 5.5 -> 6 Margin of error, which is pretty large margin of error in political polling.
  25. Sold. I think the issue for me is/was that the context of all of the comparisons was to take the event (9/11, Pearl Harbor are the ones I addressed), examine the responses in terms of civilian casualties, and then see how those numbers/rates/whatever compare to Israel's response to Oct 7, in order to make some sort of empirical determination in a historical context whether they were proportionate. In picking events in order to do this, the one where we dropped the A-Bomb, the only time it's ever happened, is obviously a skewed approach to take.
