  1. There are more case decisions to be released today. There are still some on the docket with some real bad implications. There's one where they're probably going to decide the EPA can't regulate the environment.... which is a clear shot at the administrative state.
  2. So why do we celebrate the day Jesus was born? Was he not a person before then according to those who purport to be his fan club?
  3. I can't believe someone did that to coach. That's no SEC titles energy right there.
  4. One in the media I like a lot is Michael Isikoff on Skullduggery and he's been on the skeptical side of all of this but recently hard this change of tone as well.
  5. this is one of the only good explanations I've seen for what he could be possibly saying. I read somewhere too that apparently conservatives think Roe is like Plessy in its terribleness. I can't believe I'm giving him benefit of the doubt but I guess I am
  6. I'm actually old enough to remember the self-appointed vote-approval council of 1 here, @1984Echoes, saying on the old board that he's voted for Republicans before. Yeah, no offense but I'll take my lectures about consequences for people who didn't vote FOR THE CONSEQUENCES DIRECTLY. I'm undefeated in voting not for republicans, don't need you bringing down my record
  7. I love how you'v been reduced to the point of being a grown ass man calling another grown ass man a fucking 2 year old because they don't buy your garbage argument on the internet. You could just be a better salesman but whatever I'm not the one trying to get someone to vote in accordance with my wishes by insulting them repeatedly
  8. When is my meeting for you to approve or reject my reasons for how I vote? It's my your vote according to you
  9. It's more than just abortion. My hometown got destroyed by flooding and these dems I'm supposed to vote for ain't doing shit about it but I'm glad I've got people to tell me what's important to me and how I should vote I'm so lucky
  10. Glad you appointed yourself judge over MY reasons for MY vote. Blow it out your ass. Again.
  11. here's hoping the dems do better than all of the prognostications.
  12. The firing squad we elected is representative of the firing squad we are
  13. Here's a very recent example:
  14. No you're not to blame but you're in the firing squad with the rest of the firing squad and you fire a lot. I am as well.
  15. she runs the best Democratic operation on the Hill. the best operation is obviously McConnell.
  16. Here's where I gave auntie nancy credit for the Jan 6 hearings:
  17. I think that promise has been made several times. TBF they keep electing her so its a caucus issue
  18. You argue there's a circular firing squad but you're in it with an AR-15 man
  19. the irony never ends.
  20. You seem to be countering someone arguing that the GOP will be more pro choice than the Democrats. If that's what Kacie's arguing I'll let her address that b/c I'm definitely not arguing that
  21. Aside from all of the ideological stuff..... and I love me some Nancy.... I rocked her as my avatar for many years on this forum. But I think the game is really passed her and schumer by. It really has. I respect the shit out of her, I think it's great to see that she got that bill passed but the job only includes that, it's not only that. This is like a multi-media PR hyperspeed job now and it really seems like the Democrats are severally outmanuevered on this front by the GOP all the time. I do think it's generational the Jan 6 hearings are the first time they've come close to being on the same level ETA: I think they had a fundamental assumption things would be "normal" after Trump and it's not and it's a different fight now and they're outmatched.
  22. basically a high correlation between progressiveness and trashing the fillibuster in my mind
