I'm not saying they'll be St. Louis from 2019 and go worst to first and win it all. They won't as their defense is still too poor for that kind of a turnaround and we need more guys on offense to pick it up a bit. They don't quite have that level of physicality that St. Louis had along the boards and in their own end either. But if McLellan can keep the team playing with this level of energy and physicality than I think they will make the playoffs. This has been as fun as nearly anything we watched under the Lalonde era. There was that run we had, right before we collapsed last season, that was a lot of fun and felt like we were turning a corner. But other than that, the Lalonde era didn't produce much.
