This offense owes this defense an apology at halftime, including Johnson to Glenn. As bad as this defense has been at times this year because of injuries, Glenn is calling a masterful game tonight. He's really done a great job matching coverages and getting pressure on Darnold all night thus far.

When you have the best Oline in the league just pound the rock home for the first.

They tried to catch them napping, so I get what they did. But they needed to just run it or sneak it there.

I can't tell from the one reply visual, but live action, it looked like he just got the first down.

He's been dialing up pressure and it's clearly working out well l. Darnold isn't getting the time or in position to make the throws he wants.

Goff's decision making and reaction time needs to be a touch quicker.

I'm not saying they'll be St. Louis from 2019 and go worst to first and win it all. They won't as their defense is still too poor for that kind of a turnaround and we need more guys on offense to pick it up a bit. They don't quite have that level of physicality that St. Louis had along the boards and in their own end either. But if McLellan can keep the team playing with this level of energy and physicality than I think they will make the playoffs. This has been as fun as nearly anything we watched under the Lalonde era. There was that run we had, right before we collapsed last season, that was a lot of fun and felt like we were turning a corner. But other than that, the Lalonde era didn't produce much.
