    Christian Encarnacion-Strand would an interesting addition. Out with a bad wrist, huge RH power, not great defender but plays 3b and 1b. Would be back up plan for both Jung and Tork. And if everyone hits, then great. Have CES, Jung, Keith and Tork in a round robin of 3b, 2b, 1b and DH. Malloy + some arms?

    Baez will not finish his contract in Det obviously. Sweeney is interesting. Gage Workman looks like he could play some type of ML role. But Baez is in the mix until Harris gets 2 shortstops who are better.

    DeSantis could not pull off the fake "county fair-best hog contest" stuff. He has been pretty effective as a governor in bringing MAGA style stupidity to all parts of the FLA government.

    Trump's ability to take both sides of any issue not only comes with no downside to MAGA, but now it is a positive as the press will attack Dems who call out his extreme positions and says Dems are unfair; effectively having the press weaponize his flip-flops to defend Trump. Insane.

    example 1,592 of the corporate media holding Dems to an impossible standard while simultaneously holding the GQP to no standard. Trump said they exchanged love letters, but THE WASHINGTON POST fact checked the DNC and said love letters may not have been written by Trump. WTF.

    B+ grade for DNC Day 1. Some clunkers. But no huge gaffs. Not sure there is a bump to be gotten from the convention considering Harris' recent surge. But if next week she is holding steady +1 to +4, that's fine.
