Phillies are probably not interested in tendering a contract to Austin Hays at around $6.4M. He's RH, could be Carpenter's platoon mate in RF for a year.

Rogers is going to be pissed when the Jets release him. Don't they know Aaron Rogers releases teams? Teams don't release Aaron Rogers. Now that Tom Brady is part of the Raiders ownership, there is no team that will touch Rogers, so 6 more games to go and then he can go meditate for a decade in darkness.

obviously, there a decent chance Tork fails again - for a team that wants to return to the playoffs, you cannot have Ibanez as your back up 1B if that happens. Harris needs some kind of plan, but adding another RH first base only player would be hard to fit into the lineup.

would Harris need to pay a premium in prospects to get Luis Robert? not sure WS want to see him in division, but Robert would be an impactful move for a RH bat; if healthy, great bargain for the next 3 years - 15, 20, 20 Greene, Meadows, Carpenter vs RH with Robert at DH Greene, Meadows, Robert vs LH WS need everything and if you're going to trade Crochet, no reason to hold onto Robert
