There was info out there that the pylon is out of bounds. That doesn’t appear to be the case anymore. The scenario that was quoted from was where the receiver actually got both feet down inbounds but because his leg hit the pylon before the second foot came down inbounds it was incomplete.

They may salvage their season with a week 18 win though.

I forgot to add, if you get it and your opponent gets a FG you are still only down 2 scores.

The idea is if you get it you win with 2 more TDs and extra points. If you don’t get it you go for 2 again next TD. If you get it there you are no worse off and you gave yourself a chance to win. It makes sense if you take 2 point conversions as a 50% or more proposition.
