  1. He is big and fast. He was injured last year, so that killed his market. And this is a weaker year for wr, especially in the draft.
  2. And there's more than one way to franchise a player.
  3. I'll bet the beer you owe me from 15 years ago.
  4. Holmes brought that up last year when he signed him for one year.
  5. I disagree. I think he's going to get franchised.
  6. I feel they have to draft at least one corner in the first. If the Lions re-sign Eliot, then I don't think they need another safety. I think the Lions are really deep at edge.
  7. All-time nice guy Fred Lynn with two new knees...
  8. Jaws reminds me of this, the greatest premise in movie history...
  9. There was plenty of controversy when it happened. I was very amused by it.
  10. Taysom makes a lot of money. Probably a good comp, although Fields is faster than Hill.
  11. This is the only picture I have ever seen of the Detroit Wheels...
  12. What would scare me, and @buddha let me know your thoughts; is if the Bears realized that Fields would be a bigger weapon as a slash player, and they drafted Bryce Young to be their QB.
  13. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/diamond-sports-groups-bankruptcy-could-rock-the-baseball-revenue-boat/ I wonder if this might have played a role in the Tigers lack of offseason...
  14. I'm kind of beating myself up from when I saw Tesla at 116 two week ago and said "that looks juicy". They're now at 177plus. I have some, but that was an opportunity lost.
  15. Nobody cares about earnings, they just want the guidance.
  16. Yeah, they have too much power to wield when they can downgrade or upgrade any stock, but that is true with most financials. The best thing about financials at this time is that most portfolio managers are using them as the #1 sector, even if they are boring, but they usually come with a nice yield. I've had shares of little known MAIN, who pays a great 7% monthly (they even have a couple of special dividends, giving out 14 dividends/year). Also, this has been a good week for the market. Hoping the fed doesn't screw things up.
  17. Hey, I own stock in those crooks! 😁 (JPM and GS)
  18. Specific complaints about too many Babe Ruth signed baseballs. Throw me one if you have one!
  19. People had been complaining that they have been doing too much baseball on Antiques Roadshow.
  20. I can die now...liked by Nicholas Lowry...lmao!
  21. Songs from the key of life by Stevie Wonder is such a beautiful album, and the music is so rich to this day. As, Sir Duke, and I wish are to me, three of the greatest songs to appear on one record.
  22. My wealth manager doesn't have me in any 500, they prefer international equity (SCHF), Russell 2000 ishares (IWM), emerging markets fund (VWO), REIT Index fund (VNQ)/(VNQI for international); small cap etf SCHA, vanguard all world index fund VSS, and my favorite, ishares gold trust IAU.
  23. IVV is a passively managed ETF, as is SPY. They basically have the same holdings, except IVV is cheaper. Management Fees Distribution and Service (12b-1) Fees Other Expenses1 Total Annual Fund Operating Expenses 0.03% None 0.00% 0.03% 1 The amount rounded to 0.00%. Example. This Example is intended to help you compare the cost of owning shares of the Fund with the cost of investing in other funds. The Example assumes that you invest $10,000 in the Fund for the time periods indicated and then sell all of your shares at the end of those periods. The Example also assumes that your investment has a 5% return each year and that the Fund’s operating expenses remain the same. Although your actual costs may be higher or lower, based on these assumptions, your costs would be: 1 Year 3 Years 5 Years 10 Years $3 $10 $17 $39 The net expense ratio for SPY is .0945, big difference to me.
