  1. He played 13 games at 2b, and 27 games at third. I think you'll see just about every prospect for the Tigers get cross trained at more than one position from now on.
  2. I would set Keith aside from the rest. He's pretty safe because of his approach and power, and ability to hit.
  3. Verlander is chasing 43 million per year.
  4. Thank you, you are correct, they are volatile. That's why you need to have outstanding pitching depth, especially in the minors. The Tigers right now have decent pitching depth, but it needs to improve. If the Tigers trade pitchers, they will probably trade someone on the major league roster who is arbitration eligible or close to it. That usually works out well for the parent club, it gives them roster flexibility and payroll flexibility.
  5. Moreno is not going to be traded. Would have to give up Riley in that deal, which is a non-starter for me.
  6. Why move the two pitchers with the best stuff in the system? Makes no sense to me. Those are guys we need more of.
  7. https://motorcitybengals.com/2022/11/08/rumor-blue-jays-looking-to-trade-catcher-could-detroit-tigers-be-a-suitor/ I definitely see a fit here, possibly long term with Jansen behind the plate. Tigers would have to trade either Soto (preferred) or Jiminez plus a decent prospect like Wenceel to get this done.
  8. That's not how teams are built. Even the Yankees spend a ton on drafting and development.
  9. Keith is a stud. I think he'll be a top 10 prospect on everybody's list later in 23.
  10. This is for subscribers, and is more Keith juice... https://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports/mlb/tigers/2022/11/02/detroit-tigers-adding-more-muscle-with-colt-keiths-245-pounds/69612140007/
  11. There should be zero expectations for 2023. They need to figure out their pitching staff and what they will do for the long haul. I'm sure there will be a lot of transactions, just like the past year.
  12. We just need a year to scrap for this position. IMO, the big priority is to get Keith ready for ML in 2024.
  13. Right now, I think Keith is the Tigers best prospect, and I can see him hitting 3rd in a top AL lineup down the road.
  14. I think Levis will be the #1 rated QB, he does have the most tools imo.
  15. When I have watched him, especially against Tennessee, he's been handled by one guy each time.
  16. I have watched Will Anderson all year, and he's not doing much this year. He's not showing his usual explosion. Last year he had 57 solo tackles, and 17.5 sacks; this year he has 16 solo, and 6 sacks.
  17. He's in charge of the international side as well. I'm very excited about this hire.
  18. Will Levis. C.J. Stroud Bryce Young.
  19. Hendon Hooker.
  20. The Tigers are hiring... https://blogs.fangraphs.com/instagraphs/job-posting-detroit-tigers-multiple-analyst-positions/ https://blogs.fangraphs.com/instagraphs/job-posting-detroit-tigers-product-manager-ui-ux-engineer/
  21. Soto will fetch a decent chip.
  22. It sounds like Harris is looking to fix the team via the trade route, instead of free agency. The Tigers might just need one more year before Keith is ready.
  23. Not going to get anything for him. He had more value after his rookie season.
