  1. That's a shocker. Don't know how they did it. 40 million cap charge. Wow.
  2. I'm glad I only bought 100 shares when it IPO'd. I was wrong about this and Snowflake, but didn't lose much on either.
  3. I have eschewed my investing, and have hired Personal Capital to handle my, uh, capital. I'm really glad I did, they showed me some tricks to the trade, and I think I was able to make it through the roughest part of this inflation (I decree it will end asap) without too much of a dent in my retirement. So, of course, I get to go through another job change later this year. FCA/Chrysler/Stellantis is shutting us down, and is going with a cheaper/non-union replenisher. That gives me another 401k to rollover and play with, much to the dismay of Personal Capital, who would wish that I would properly diversify, but as Uncle Buffett tells us, there are not enough good companies out there to diversify, so just make money!
  4. Mamula was an undersized tweener. Walker is a destroyer/heat seeking missile with great size and bend.
  5. Georgia Defense.
  6. I disagree. He's a grown man.
  7. I work midnights.
  8. I like Travon Walker at 2.
  9. I disagree, they need to go all out and win as many games as possible. This is going to be a really good division sooner than later. The Twins are better, the Royals have a load coming up, and the Guardians are the Guardians. Chicago's system is really thin, so they don't have much room to get better. That's the time to strike.
  10. Imo, the Tigers are too left handed pitching wise, and they'll need right handers, especially to beat the White Sox.
  11. I just think that Oakland would want Kriedler. I really like Montas.
  12. Both. Walker blew up the combine, especially with the drills imo. Also, trading down is fun to do... 6. Travon Walker EDGE Georgia 31. Lewis Cine S Georgia 32. Devonte Wyatt DT Georgia 34. 13. Their take for Chapman seems pretty underwhelming to me. They can have Paredes, but they might want Kriedler, who's their type of guy who is close to MLB. Throw in Elvin Rodriguez and Clemens, and that should be enough for Montas. Reese Olson is another I think they'd like.
  14. Not even close. Trubisky is signing with Giants, and will probably back up Jones. Matt Ryan has an immovable contract, just reupped. Seattle will probably get Watson.
  15. I think if Willis doesn't go 2, he might go 3 to Houston.
  16. McHugh makes a lot of sense for the Tigers right now.
  17. I think Willis has a higher ceiling than any QB available next year, but he's also a little risky. I think it would mitigate the risk by having him sit for at least a year.
  18. MALIK WILLISQB, LIBERTY FLAMES PFF draft analyst Trevor Sikkema said on the NFL Stock Exchange Podcast that he heard Liberty QB Malik Willis has a chance to go at second overall to the Detroit Lions. The top of this year's draft is more unpredictable than ever before. There is little consensus at the top of the draft and we only have a decent guess as to who goes first overall. This amount of limbo breeds excellent speculation and Willis (6'1/215) is the latest beneficiary. After a stunning combine and Senior Bowl, Willis going in the top-10 has seemed more and more likely. There have been rumors circulating that the Lions are fans of Willis and with their need a quarterback, there is credence to the idea of selecting him at number two overall. 19. I don't like the receivers in free agency, would rather they draft em. Love the Reynolds signing, won't affect the compensation needle, which is what they really need, more picks.
  20. I wouldn't touch Hamilton, either. That 4.59 doesn't belong with the elite talents in this draft.
  21. Also, if Hutch goes #1, I would have no problem in drafting either Willis, Watson, or Jordan Davis. Even Jordan Walker. Thibodeaux is a hot mess, I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.
  22. I haven't said it yet, but I've admired his work from afar for a while, I watched this receiver last year when I thought we would have a chance to draft his QB last year, and now, after digesting a ton, Christian Watson is my #1 receiver in this draft. I think he's a top ten talent.
  23. You're not a lefty. Shifts are far more damaging to lefties.
