I'd much rather he go to the highest bidder and net us a solid comp pick. He's not going to be a top 3 rush end for the Lions, who will probably draft one; along with the Okwara brothers. Pick up another bum on a one year deal, and build them up.
I would love to get the QB of the future in this draft; then the Lions can concentrate on the best talent. This draft would have two impact starters, and two future starters imo.
I don't remember where I heard this, but I heard the Tigers offered Correa a contract in the range of 8 years for 275 million, and Correa turned it down. After that, they turned to Baez as their backup plan.
I like him too, but I think he'll be available in the 2nd round. Still very early, but there is a bunch (including Howell) that will be there in the 2nd imo.

If I may rant about the union/Max Scherzer right now. Max said he was all about competition with the next agreement, but the union is against adding more playoff teams, and changing the 6 divisions into 4? How does that create more competition? It does the opposite. Stupid.
