I know that I have my retirement date planned now, 10 years in advance. It will be on my 65th birthday in December of 2031, and not a day later. And I won't be going back.
I'd much rather he go to the highest bidder and net us a solid comp pick. He's not going to be a top 3 rush end for the Lions, who will probably draft one; along with the Okwara brothers. Pick up another bum on a one year deal, and build them up.
I would love to get the QB of the future in this draft; then the Lions can concentrate on the best talent. This draft would have two impact starters, and two future starters imo.
