I go back a bit...the all star game post NBA/ABA merger in 1977 was awesome. You got to see guys like Dr J and Gervin going against guys like Kareem and Elvin Hayes for the 1st time. That a game from almost 50 years ago is the only all star game I have a clear recollection of says something about the All Star game. Four nations has been fun...but the rest of the laegue's all star formats are lacking. Baseball is OK, but interleague play kinda ruined the mystique of hat one. Football's "all star" game is pretty much dead. Are these games even worth doing these days?

Zabel is viewed as a guy who can ...with some development.. start at C and at the very least fill a role anywhere on the line as a reserve early on. Is that 1st round value?
