The Athletic did a bit today about how teams ranked with the cap and the value they were seeing...the "wisest spenders". Wings were 24th last year...this year they're 13th and trending upward as the worst looking contracts like Holl, Copp, Chiarot et al..are coming off the books soon

Yep...like Mickey Tettleton back in the 90's. Advanced stats weren't much of a thing back then so his OBP and good power numbers didn't get the respect they deserved
