  1. Bally app is being squirrelly again.. God I hate them
  2. Reports are that Love's knee injury is bad...torn mcl bad
  3. I wanted them to take Madrigal over Mize...but that wouldn't have been any better
  4. There's 11 of those guys this year.. https://www.statmuse.com/mlb/ask/first-baseman-highest-ops Look..I understand people don't like Tork and want him gone. Get used to seeing him because I don't see this front office just cutting him loose this year. It doesn't seem to be in their DNA
  5. No argument there...but with no other real options...they're gonna give him every chance. IS this the last chance or is next year the last chance. I don't know...but I imagine Harris does
  6. For a team with so few RH hitters...it's tough to pretend that 31 HR's didn't happen. He's not blocking anyone now...and he was 1/1 in the f'd up COVID year. Like it or not...he's getting a lot of rope
  7. People really took to Goff last year...he took the reins and established the team and restablished himself as a QB. Stafford is the guy who rejected us (no matter how fairly) ...Goff is our guy. The two will always be linked in that sense and I think the city boos Stafford almost out of respect for Goff in reaction to that
  8. Far be it for me to tell Zack Braff he shouldn't work...but I'm sick of seeing him reference Scrubs in everything he does. Plus he's annoying AF Mize got hurt...many many times. I hesitate to call anyone who gets hurt that much a bust. Tork needs to show something soon beacuse we have a number of guys like Carpenter, Jung and Malloy who are defensively challenged in the OF and 3RD...but might be able to be hidden at 1st
  9. Max Clark has a bit of Ric Flair in him... "Good God...what's causing all this...whoo"
  10. Bowden's top 50 MLB prospects on the Athletic.. 1. Jobe 2. Clark 28 Rainer 38 McGonigle He tabs Jobe as the only pitching prospect who projects as a future Cy Young. He gushes over Clark
  11. I was at that Browns game his rookie year when he lead the big comeback and scraped himself off the ground to throw the game winning TD. I always appreciated his guts and talent
  12. Adames would be a nice fit
  13. I caught it in 82...my dad was a Dr so I just stayed home. He said my lab work was so bad I probably should have been in the hospital...but he figured he and my mom could keep an eye on me. I was so out of it that the drive home from the lab that did my blood and urine samples took an hour and a half instead of 30 minutes because I kept getting lost in the city I grew up in
  14. NHL GM's in general like signing veterans. Pacioretty would be a cheap enough contract that if he winds up on the 4th line or a frequent scratch it won't kill you.
  15. The worst I ever felt was when I had mono as a 21 year-old. Sometimes when your sick...you feel so badly you want to lie down because sitting up is too much. I wanted to seep into the ground because lying down was too much. Took months to fully recover
  16. Depends on the cost...he's got good size..could add veteran scoring on the third line
  17. Edmonton signs Draisaitl to an 8 year $112 million extension
  18. I recall Sparky talking about players who looked afraid to play or something like that in the dugout and the assumption was it was a reference to HoJo
  19. I'm a gummie b4 sleep guy too...I weigh about 290lbs, so I eat a full one. Seth Jarvis signs an 8 year 64 million extension with the Canes. Another win for Raymond...
  20. Read on X it was a pitch limit issue
  21. Horrible rumor on Twitter...Johnny Gadreau and his brother were hit and killed by a drunk driver while they were out riding their bicycles.
  22. Interesting analysis of Tork's swung by Gibby last night. His hands and the bat are a tiny bit forward when he loads his swing. This allows him to get the bat into the zone more quickly. He hammered both of his hits yesterday. Extremely small sample size...but he's been bopping since he came back. Also liked Petry's analysis of one of the Angel's pitchers change up grip and how it differed from the normal change. Actually had a ball and glove in the booth to demonstrate the grip and how the extra time it takes to set it up in the glove b4 executing it could tip the pitch. Really good stuff from both guys
  23. Jacoby really struggled with pitch recognition ...that time he just kinda stood there and hot hit in the face by a pitch? Just stood there as it him. Really good athlete though
  24. Chuck Daly fid that with the Pistons front court. Edwards started and established the low post offense and then Salley and Rodman came in as the X factor and played a ton of minutes
  25. Lynn still pines for Adames.... No better SS prospect ever than G-Rat...still can't believe he didn't make it
