    I saw a chart on X recently that showed how guys in the minors are doing against various pitch speed. Tork was hitting over .300 on 94+mph pitches. That surprised me

    ESPN+ Had a write up on what teams should do. Essentially...Tigers should trade every tradeable asset...esp Flaherty. Opinions were split on keeping or trading Skubal. The consensus of the people they talked to in baseball was that we're building something here ( a sleeping giant per one guy) but we're not quite there yet.

    Verlander came up for two starts as a 22 year oldin July of 2005 He turned out ok...I guess

    I don't recall this mich excitement over the farm system since the late 70's when the 84 nucleus was coming up. Of course...trading Miller and Maybin for Miggy was pretty exciting too

    I agree... Holland is not quick off his feet...lacks explosion. That little floater in the lane he's so fond of is going back down his throat against real rim defenders.

    15 wins to 30 is the easy jump...30 to 45-50 is much harder

    Not a WNBA fan by any stretch...but if we could download Caitlin Clark's brain into Ivey's that would be great. She gets the pg assingment completely...she drops more dimes than JD Rockeller

    Theres a number of guys having nice offensive seasons in the DSL...SS Dickson and Osorio are both over .900 OPS. Dickson is 17 and Osorio is 19. Cristian Perez...17 year old CF is batting over 300 with an 880 ops. The increased emphasis on international development may start paying off in a few years
