  1. If you had told me on draft night 3 years ago that Ivey would be scoring 17 ppg and shooting almost 37% from three in game 25 of season 3, I would have jumped for joy. Those are solid numbers for a third year player. Jaylen Brown was something like 13 ppg and 33% his third year. If he continues to develop he has a nice shot at being a 20-22 PPG player that shoots 38%-40% from three next year. That is a $30M a year guy all day. Especially since we already know the cap will rise by 10% each year for the next 3-4 years due to the new TV contract. By year 2 and 3 of a $30M a year deal he will be making less than 15% of the cap. Even if things go totally wrong, that contract doesn't hurt you at all. Plus, on the chance he does hit the numbers are projected, you just saved $15M a year because at those numbers he gets a lot more expensive than $30M a year. So whats an Ivey trade look like? He wont bring back a lottery pick, at least not for the next two years. The drafts are too good and people will demand lottery protection the picks. So a trade wont bring help until a few years from now at best. Not real Ivey wont bring back a star in a trade. Even packaged with other Pistons, there isn't enough to put together a trade for a star. So a trade seems like a lateral move at best. The time to trade everyone was this past summer. That includes at least listening to Cade trade offers. I said this summer that being bad enough not to make the playoffs but good enough not to secure the 5th pick is the worst possible position to be in. Here we are. Bad odds at obtaining a top pick. No cap space. Players with some trade value, but not likely to bring back anything special. Coming up on two decades of it now.
  2. It's going to end up being some marketing thing isn't it?
  3. Not a good shooter. Solid/OK on defense. Eh, depends on price I guess.
  4. This was just announced a few days ago. Does this help your situatuion? Google Finally Announces Much-Needed Google Photos Feature
  5. Yeah, it's related to the greatest tournament in the history of sports. I don't think any of tonight's games were on the schedule at the start of the season. They were added as teams were eliminated from the tournament.
  6. The 4:30PM injury report now has Duren listed as questionable with a right wrist sprain.
  7. Klintman and the G-League guys are the only ones listed on the Pistons injury report.
  8. I just received the email from YouTube TV raising the price another $10 a month. It's now up to $82.99 a month for the base package and that does not include FanDuel or whatever the local sports thing is that's another $20 for that app. I think it's probably time to look at bundling our TV with our internet provider and going back to cable. Xfinity at least carries FanDuel.
  9. Think this is on NBATV for your out of towners.
  10. I guess not. She doesn't do anything with billing codes. But her boss brought these up in a staff meeting. I guess they were going for hyper accurate tracking and it created a bunch of goofy codes. She listed off a few more. Prolonged stay in weightless environment Spacecraft collision Injured at the opera house Struck by turtle Swimming pool of prison as the place of occurrence of the external cause Inadequate social skills
  11. The girl told me tonight that there is a medical billing code for "Burn due to water skis on fire" I should have believed her. https://www.icd10data.com/ICD10CM/Codes/V00-Y99/V90-V94/V91-/V91.07
  12. Glad to see Redwood still around. Must be close to 30 years for them now. I can still remember when it opened. They always had really good food.
  13. If I get on my knees and admit Europeans are superior, can this ****ing tournament end.
  14. Beal has a no trade clause.
  15. Bronny playing in his first away G-League game. Lebron excused from practice (Personal reasons) Come on now.
  16. Never heard of him but seeing quite a few people discussing him. A lot of folks seem to like him.
  17. Transfer portal about to get wild.
  18. As far as Beasley goes. I think he has move value than Bogie did. Younger and more important, much cheaper. Not a lot of people can trade for a $20M contract. Pretty much everyone can trade for a $7M contract. More competition = more value, hopefully. Pretty easy to decide on trading him or not. Do they have a shot at the playoffs? If yes, keep him. If no, trade him.
  19. I would offer Ivey $30M per this summer and willing to go up to $35M per, but if he wants higher it would have to wait and see how he performs next summer. This assumes he continues at his current level of play.
  20. Yep, past data is huge. We have spreadsheets that incorporate the past 3 years of sales if available. We give more weight to last year than 2 years ago. And more to 2 years ago then 3. It gives us a baseline for supplies and staffing on individual nights. Your location and community calendar are also important. We have a couple of locations close to the town center. So we need to know is there a tree lighting ceremony, parade, festival, etc. So we can staff up. Close to a few high schools, so we need to know are 8 schools coming in this weekend for a big track meet or wrestling meet? That is a lot of parents that will want to eat. Is there a big craft show at the high school this weekend? Basically we need to know about anything that brings more people than normal to the area so we are ready for the spike.
  21. Did I hear correctly? They are renovating the dorms at MSD? That deal seems to have worked out well for everyone. MSD got a beautiful new building and Powers was able to move their campus to a better part of the city. Fay Hall was renovated. Still one of my favorite buildings in the city.
