    I read good things about the Callaway pre-owned site. I ordered a "like new" Paradym 7 wood from them and it came still in the shrink wrap with stickers/tags on the shaft like it was never used. Not a single mark on the head, no scuff marks at all. 99% sure it was a brand new club. They also offer a 15 day money back guarantee if you are unhappy with the condition. You can just print up the return label from UPS and send it back. It also has a manufacturer warranty good for a year I believe. One very small downside is it comes with a generic "Paradym" head cover. So if you order a driver and a few fairway woods they all look the same. But you could come up with something fairly easy to help identify which club is which.

    They would have to change the qualifying rules. In 5v5 you can qualify with one roster and send a totally different roster to the Olympics. In 3v3 you have to play in enough FIBA sanctioned events and earn enough points to qualify for the Olympics. The events overlap with the NBA season. The best we could probably do is a few guys that just retired.

    A thread popped up on /R/golf today about watercoolers. It appears a lot of courses still have them. Just none that I play.

    Came back to golf this year after about 20 years away. When/why did courses stop putting water out? I assume it's so they can sell you the $4 bottle of water. Funny thing is, I still see all the old stands for the water jugs on the courses. They just sit empty.

    Article in the Sports Business Journal says Diamond (Bally's) will look to drop 5 of their regional sports networks when they come out of bankruptcy. Detroit is one of the 5 listed.

    I give fans a pass for bitching about this since they generally don't know much about the game. But watching Windy complain that Bam isn't the one being benched is hilarious. Yeah, lets bench the best defensive center on earth. The guy who can switch 1-5 no problem. Who would need that? Maybe I'm the fool for thinking journalists should know a little about the game they cover.
