    Doesn't matter if Weaver is fired or not. Pretty obvious the new guy is in charge and will run things. We all wanted someone other than Weaver running things and now we will have that. Means nothing to me if Gores wants to let Weaver hang around until his contact is up.

    Weaver brought 14 wins to the table. If they new guy does that too, we are damn near at 30 wins. Hire 4 or 5 more guys to run the team and we are making a deep playoff run.

    JEIII with an article talking about 5 guys to watch for the president job. Pretty uninspiring. John Horst - current Milwaukee GM. John Hammond - We all know him. Neil Olshey - Decent but had some accusations in Portland that weren't great. Not real sure how all that ended up. Bryson Graham - Pelicans assistant GM. He said he is the young up and comer. The last one, I kid you not, Dwayne Casey.

    Chet played all 82 games this season. Victor played a very respectable 71. I think most of his missed games were rest games and not due to injury.

    They also have a lottery pick this year. I believe it was from Houston and will be #12. They also have 8 first round picks between 2024 and 2028 that are not their own. EDIT: I meant 2025-2028.

    I would already have the press release worked up announcing Weaver is out. I would hit the send button 5 seconds after this game ends.

    I sort of agree with pistons Twitter about that article. We are at the final game of the season and they don't yet have a clue in which direction they are going to go.

    I would have already had calls into Bob Myers to see if he has any interest in returning to the NBA. He is still very young (49) and he built the Warriors into what they were. If he has no interest I ask if he would consider a 3 month consulting gig. Fire Weaver and let Myers run the search for my next GM.
