  1. All the new guys except Grimes are playing tonight.
  2. Time off is exactly what a team needs that just overhauled half of its roster. I'm sure they were able to practice at least once, probably twice which isn't always easy to do during the season. Also being on the road means nobody is leaving practice to run home to the family. So they probably are scheduling team outings/dinners to let guys get to know each other.
  3. They need to put celebrities names on these commercials so old people like me know who they are.
  4. Family member passed away.
  5. S3 of The Bear is set to premier in June. People seem amazed it was such a fast turn around since S2 premiered in June of 2023. But us older folks remember TV shows doing 22-24 episodes every year.
  6. They probably hand the W yesterday if they had more second rounders.
  7. So that Haliburton play happened in The Garden. This Kobe play also took place in The Garden on the same date 12 years ago.
  8. Clippers had 0 offensive rebounds. That is the 5th time in league history that has happened.
  9. City of Pittsburgh exploring supporting professional basketball team
  10. Because that was the only thing in that trade.
  11. Interesting to see how they list the new guys on the injury report. Fournier and Flynn are out because trade pending. Brown and Milton are questionable because the trade is pending. Maybe their guys are closer to taking their physical to get the trade approved. Obviously, Grimes is listed as out.
  12. Yeah, this is exactly why I don't think the asset management argument is good. Bojan got about what was expected. Even if you disagree you have to give him credit for acquiring him in the first place for peanuts. Bagley and Plumlee were sent out for second round picks. Don't give a **** about those. The Dedmon thing is funny but it was strategic. It actually had to be done to complete their FA signings which landed them Grant. https://theathletic.com/2212237/2020/11/21/pistons-nba-free-agency-opening-day/ The Bey pick was bad, but that falls under poor drafting to me. So semantics there I guess. But if you prefer to call it poor asset management thats fine. I like the Stewart move. I can disagree with one of your complaints about Weaver and still think he has done a poor job.
  13. I mean, people around here thought Bojan was bringing back multiple firsts. Stars almost never bring back unprotected lottery picks. A guy like Grant never does. Was the Bucks pick a bit low? Probably. But didn't the Duren trade happen right away? Or a day or two after? So while the pick was low, it appears he had a plan in place to improve it.
  14. I don't remember the first year offers for Grant. I put it in Google now and all I get is the actual trade with Portland.
  15. It's only 4 games but we need to grasp onto any hope we can.
