Zion and his baby mama posted a gender reveal on Youtube. I guess that triggered his porn star side chick because she went on a pretty long Twitter rant. Her Twitter feed is pretty funny.

Time for one of the worst draft analysts in the world. This guy had Killian Hayes as the #1 pick in his class. https://nbadraft.theringer.com/mock-draft
-
No and no. I think you start to consider him around 8. I would only take him if they trade back or acquire a second pick.
-
If we don't draft ****, I hope Orlando does. Their back court could be Suggs ****.
-
Booker is a very average 3PT shooter. Poor mans Klay Thompson for **** on offense. Not nearly as good on defense unfortunately. But I feel he can be at the minimum a neutral defender.
-
I think Gradey slides into the top 10 so he is probably only in play if they trade back. I do like him a lot though. This draft is odd. After Victor and Scoot you don't have a ton of star potential. But you have like 15 guys who could be extremely good role players.
-
He plays with Victor so watched most of his games. I don't really see it to be honest. You have to be careful when an anonymous source says the Thunder made a promise. Sam Presti is the best drafting GM in the league and it isn't even close IMO. So agents will use the Thunder to create buzz about their client. If Sam wants him he must be good! One thing about Coulibaly is how young he is. I believe he just turned 18.

Nope. It would have to be a two man rotation for the next few years. See which one you like and then trade the other to fill roster holes.

My three guys I would love to add in the draft but not at #5. The Pistons would need to add a pick (or trade back) much like they did for Duren last year. Honestly, all three could sneak into the top 10 so maybe Detroit wouldn't have a shot at them even in a trade. In no particular order: Kobe Bufkin - I barely knew who this guy was when he declared. I have a friend who is really into the draft and he said Bufkin will be graded as a top 10 player from this class in 10 years. Wont be a star but will be a very good role player. Does nothing really elite but also does nothing really bad. Cason Wallace - I admit part of my love for him is the long list of Kentucky guards who had OK college careers and exploded in the NBA. Fox, SGA, Booker, Maxey, etc. But Wallace is an elite defender and arguable the best perimeter defender in the draft. Would instantly be the Pistons best defender. Would add depth to the guard position. In a pinch he could play a little PG. Derek Lively - But we already have 3 centers! No we don't. We have Duren and then a bunch of guys who are not so good. I compare him to Kessler or Williams from last year. Kessler was great all season. Williams sat the bench until the trade deadline and Charlotte traded Plumlee. Williams was inserted into the starting lineup and after that Charlotte had the #1 ranked defense in the league. Lively has those same skills. Great shot blocker and can guard the perimeter a bit. What Vecenie says about him: Leonard Miller is my honorable mention. He played for the Ignite last year and I watched a ton of their games for Scoot. Miller really ended up impressing me. Vecenie is also a big fan:

His draft guide is pretty much worth the price of a subscription.

Buddha is a Lebron fan this weekend. James will wave the French Flag to start this weekends 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Hopefully he waves a flag better than Tim Apple.
-
Seeing all these young guys named to Team USA for the FIBA World Cup tournament. Cant help but think if Cade had remained healthy this year he would have been invited.
-
I will play for Dallas before Lebron does.

Silas was so bad in Houston. Some guys are just supposed to be assistants. Pretty much every Lions coach ever.
-
Well, it wasn't Scoot. He looks to be in great shape.
-
There were rumors Williams was trying to lure him to Detroit.

Cant manage timeouts or rotations. Not a good X's and O's coach. Completely and totally outclassed by Kidd in last years playoffs. The Suns had the winning formula in the first two games. When on offense isolate Luka. In game 2 they scored something like 84 points when isolating Luka. CP3 and Booker almost fell over laughing at the post game presser when someone asked about Luka's defense. Kidd made defensive adjustments in game 3 and for the rest of the series Phoenix couldn't find a way to isolate Luka. Game 6 they lose by 30+ game 7 they lose by 30+ at home, the game was over by the middle of the second quarter. That is when he should have been fired. His player development is also overrated. He took over when Booker was in his 5th season. His numbers were the same before and after Williams. The Suns really made the jump after CP3 arrived. Sort of like the Nick Nurse situation with Kawhi. People giving the coach too much credit without providing enough context. He also totally failed with Ayton. At the end of the day it is on Ayton to improve. But if you praise Williams for player development you have to ding him for his misses as well, and Ayton is one. 5 years in the league and he doesn't have a defined role. Of course in a Williams offense bigs are mostly there to set screens for the high PnR, so get ready for that. But the most egregious thing with Ayton is that Williams seems to openly dislike him. Last summer Phoenix matched the Pacers max offer sheet and what happened? Ayton didn't hear from Williams all summer. The guy just signed a $130M contract and you don't blow a call into him for 4 months? I think the religious stuff will also end up bothering me. But that is a personal thing and really has nothing to do with his coaching. There is more but whatever.

Still glad it wasn't Ollie even though I don't like the Monty Williams hiring.

Gary Parish from CBS sports reported a projected first round pick had such a bad workout he walked off the court. He was out of shape and later seen using a vape pen. It's a podcast so I can't link it.

This has been playing in my head on repeat since the announcement.

Before. Wednesday morning.

Walker calling off his pro day is interesting. Givony said the rumor/suspicion is a team gave him a promise.

I have always considered Phil Ivey to be the best cash game player on earth. I think durrrr makes a good case for that title now. The problem is he isn't that visible to American players. He spends most of his time playing nosebleeds in Macau. I think Ivey is probably a more intelligent player, more of a student of the game or thinker. But durrrr is so fearless and hyper aggressive it makes it extremely difficult to play against him. He constantly puts players in very uncomfortable positions and even the professionals are not used to that.
