Doc is another guy that baffles me he keeps getting jobs.

A lot of similarities for sure. The one big difference IMO is that Scoot has a higher BBIQ. I think if you take away Morants explosiveness/athleticism he would be a pretty bad player. If you do that to Scoot he is still pretty smart/crafty and would be able to contribute still. Morant is always going full speed and he doesn't know how to dial it back. But how often do you see him get frustrated and just go crashing into the paint against three guys with the hope of hitting a circus shot and/or picking up a foul? It is one of my biggest complaints against him. Scoot is much more like Cade when it comes to court vision and BBIQ. He has that little hesitation/stutter step that slows things down and lets the play develop more. It allows his big to get a better angle on the screen and keep the defender on his hip, and at that point Scoot is so athletic that defender will never recover. He is much better at getting the ball to the right spot on the floor to exploit the defense a lot like Cade does. I doubt Scoot ever becomes a good shooter. His form is decent and consistent so maybe I'm wrong. It would just be gravy if he does.

1. Victor 2. Scoot if they pick #2. I would consider trading back if they can find someone to do it with. I think someone like Hendricks + whatever else they get might be worth more than Scoot to Detroit. 3. Amen 4. Taylor Hendricks 5. There are like 5 guys that could go here and I don't feel are all that different. Ausar, Gradey ****, Brandon Miller, Black, Walker, Whitmore.

Hollingers article this morning talks about his top 20 guys in the draft. Talking about Victor he mentions the amount of guys 7'3" or taller that have played 1000 games. Zero. Mark Eaton has played the most at 875. Not a ton of guys who were that tall so it is a small sample size obviously. One interesting thing. I saw he has Cam Whitmore #3 on his board ahead of Miller.

And as a fan that has endured the past ten years. I fully expect them to get the 5th pick then name Mark Jackson the new coach.

I would feel better if we heard the Pistons approached Quinn and he declined. Same with Atkinson. Right now it appears two top tier candidates were never even considered.

RIP Doyle Brunson.

I am not going to look it up. But someone said Harden did not score a single point in the 4th quarter of game 5, 6, and 7. That is worse than the Ben Simmons meltdown.

It isn't clickbait. You can't say its on me, I need to get better and then proceed to throw your teammates under the bus. Embiid wants the credit for standing up and taking the blame. Then to remind you it really isn't his fault. Like people who apologize and tell you they were wrong. Then instantly toss in a butttttttttttttt.....and give you 17 reasons why they did what they did. No, that negates your apology when you do that. And when Embiid tosses his guys under the bus it negates him standing up and taking the blame.

I would demand a trade if I was his teammate. Actually, I might demand they trade Embiid and Harden since they combined for 24 points today.

Bud should have been fired. But not to possibly hire this idiot.

Make it stop.

Thing is, guns are not illegal so Ja didn't break any laws. Terrible optics, just awful. But at the end of the day I don't really think he can be suspended and miss any games/pay. The union wont allow that. Not sure what state he was in when the video was filmed. But in Michigan he probably was breaking a law. You can only have a gun in a car if you have a concealed carry permit. Otherwise they have to be in the trunk, locked in a case, etc.

The league also said they are gathering info on the incident.

Some guys are generational talents. Ja Morant is a generational idiot.

I wonder if Ime Udoka regrets taking that Houston job now that Phoenix and Milwaukee are open. I suppose he needed to grab the first job he was offered.

Remember the 2021 finals? Both of those coaches are now unemployed.

My bad, I thought he was a FA this summer. He has a $27M player option. I can't see him declining that.

Assuming he can't work something out with GSW. I bet Draymond ends up with the Lakers on an MLE type deal.
