I don’t really know why, but listening to this song made me incredibly sad, as opposed to being happy to have a new Beatles song. I think part of it is the loss of both John and George, and what music they both could have been making all these years. (And part of it just made me think of all the people I have lost in my life… and the realization that I’ll never see any of them again.) Ugh. I am morbid today.
