Well that was interesting. 🧐 A 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit about 10:22 this morning. Just a few seconds in duration, but enough to shake the chair I was sitting in - I thought something hit my house… or something somewhere exploded. (Or that the cat was attacking the chair? 🤪) I was totally confused … then the news / neighbors confirmed it was an earthquake. The Ramapo Fault line runs through the NJ county I live in, and even though the center of this quake is 50+ miles away, because it was actually on the fault line, we felt it , definitely.

But what’s the difference? No one who was either there, or watched it on OAN, newsmax, Fox, etc. will ever hear that it was inaccurate, or as most people like to call it - another bald-face lie. He lies every day. The next day it’s fact checked and pronounced a lie )or “inaccurate”), and it doesn’t matter. This is the world we now live in. Lies do not ever cause the liar any negative repercussions, so what’s the point in correcting them. It’s all honestly depressing.

That’s awful. On so many levels.

In Flushing Queens, /CitiField - yeah… very close to LaGuardia. Planes all the time. by Yankees Stadium, more noise from the elevated subway in that part of the Bronx. i would agree that for the most times, it’s just background noise that doesn’t always enter into the consciousness of natives of the neighborhood.

Tuesday & Wednesday’s weather is going to be questionable. I don’t think they’ll necessarily postpone the games, but there might be delayed starts, or mid-game rain delay.

This is a triple gold night for me here in Jersey: 🌟🌟🌟 #1 - I get to see Detroit play! - (on the local Mets broadcast station). #2 - Tigers come through in a big way in the 10th…. With the help of really awful Mets fielding. #3 - Mets fans will still be crying themselves to sleep tonight. Perfection. 😂 btw, that Foley guy is incredible.

Oh my god, do you realize how many daily protests of “whatever” happen in NYC ? Cops are keeping the peace as best they can and don’t do the “arrest and remove” unless absolutely necessary. They’re the ultimate battle tested police force in this country, and do a terrific job. And, MB, your responses of “ok” are so juvenile. That’s my .02 for today. Peace to all of you . Well, let me qualify that by saying that there are a few, those who aren’t currently in Congress, and those who have been defeated in their most recent primaries by some Maga asshole candidate. 😂

Yeah, I was glad to just read that. It was a ridiculously bad decision to hire her. There are many GOP people that could serve as a commentator who can present a conservative perspective that aren’t lying assholes.

In other words, they will pay her to lie for Trump during an election year.” Another person likened hiring her as a political commentator to “hiring Jeffrey Dahmer as a dietary advisor”. ======================+ My reaction to this hiring? BOOOO. She’s got no place at a table discussing news.. because she wouldn’t know a truth if it smacked her in the face.

My sister (who lived in nyc for quite a few years w/first husband) personally knew 2 people who had suits filed against Trump for non-payment on work they did in Trump properties. He kept them in court over and over and over (sound familiar?) until they needed to back off because it was causing their own businesses to fail. This is more than 20 years ago. He’s been cheating people his whole life. And still, not being made to pay up.

Are they really? That is creepy, and kinda dishonorable. Like they’re helping him steal from the common man. Ick factor off the charts.

So, we really have come to the point where, in ONE speech, in ONE day, we have a former president of these United States: 1. make his audience rise, and HONOR those Jan 6th criminals that he refers to as heroes/patriots/hostages - and sing. 2. refer to migrants as non-human /animals. 3. promise a bloodbath if he loses. ….. and it’s hardly made note of, or worse, excused. Have we been this desensitized that we wave a hand and wait for whatever bull**** he’ll spew tomorrow, without blinking? I am deeply worried. Horrified, actually. Scared.
